If you like to see how people do stunts on their bikes ,you should buy this magazine right now! It shows a lot of tricks like jumps,wheelies,etc.I totally recommend this magazine.

We live in Texas, so I thought this magazine would inspire some Texas adventures. While the magazine is great, be prepared to wait a long time to get this after you order. I ordered in mid-April and actually got the first issue in mid-July and that was the August issue. In this day and age of technology, why does it take so long to get a magazine out? I know they say 6-10 weeks but that IS a very long time. They need to stream line these orders. If you are into instant gratification, get your copy monthly at the store.

For sports fans who are addicted to both baseball and football, this is the magazine for you! Whether providing in-depth stories, up-to-date information, fantasy information, or your favorite team's news, Sports Weekly is second to none in covering both MLB and the NFL. I have received this newspaper on a weekly basis for 10 years and have immensely enjoyed each issue, as it keeps me up to date on the baseball/football worlds beyond my two favorite teams (the Minnesota Twins and Vikings).

As a long time boxing fan I had very high hopes when I first subscribed to The Ring Magazine. First I will state that The Ring sets the standard for TRUE boxing rankings. It always has, and hopefully it always will. The problem is, many of the articles are repetitive. The best features are the letters, the back page, and the opinion sections. Jim Bagg continues to be a stable of self-promotion and entertaining reading. If you can find a subscription for a cheaper rate, then go for it. The Ring still delivers for the true fan...the casual fan is going to get lost in the REAL information behind the boxing industry.

A friend of mine at the Stoney Creek Wooden Boat Shop in Rochester, Michigan has been a faithful reader of this publication for some time now. I recently discovered it myself and find it to be very informative and insightful. It covers a broad range of topics from restoration, craftsmanship, history and more. My friend at the Stoney Creek Wooden Boat Shop is very particular about his craftsmanship and service on all of his boat building and restoration projects. Knowing he trusts this publication and recommends it himself puts the magazine in high place in my mind. Anyone who is serious about the art of wooden water craft or building wooden boats in general should get this magazine.

How to articles written by woodsman not salesmen. Most magazines tell hunting stories where the hunter was using some guide service which finds the game and setup the Writer to bag his trophy, usually for the free advertising. Then this hunter describes his "tools" that enabled him to take the animal. Amazingly the article is followed by two or three pages of ads selling these very "tools". Fur, Fish, Game doesn't try to sell all these unnecessary items with each article. Just good honest woodsman skills. A very refreshing, down to earth magazine thats been around since the turn of the century. I highly recommend it for those who want skills and not "gadgets".
