I received one magazine and thought it was great, but I have not received any others. $30 for one magazine is a bit steep! I see that there is another reviewer that says the magazine never made it to their mailbox either, so I'd think twice before subscribing to this magazine.

For a heterosexual guy, People en Espanol is boring. Issue after issue, it's nothing but "beautiful" celebrities (an "overkill" with Penelope Cruz in every issue); what celebrity got married or divorced; overpriced fashion; jewelry; make-up; hair-do; etc. People in English has similar contents; but it also has stories on current events, politics, and other news worthy stories. If People en Espanol would follow the English verison and cover current news events, it would be much more interesting to me. As it stands now, subscribing to People in Espanol was a mistake for me!

This makes reading easier as I learn the language. It is full of interesting stories I like to read. Very well written!

Many people will find this magazine shallow, but I don't really believe them. I am reading it non stop since the last semester, and I have to recognize it's well-written, it has great articles on health issues so guys can understand it; for example, there was a story on heart disease which was very compelling and informative. You will find exercises there if you want to pump up, I have been using them for a while and mixing them up as a routine I can follow and I'm pleased for the results; it's a nice first step if you're a beginner but then you'll have to take it a little forward. It has a simple, no-nonsense and humorous attitude which makes it even more enjoyable to read. When I bought this magazine subscription I was under the impression that is for the Cosmo that is sold/printed in Spain. I was wrong. When my first issue arrived I see that it's nothing more than the United States/English version translated into Spanish. These 2 magazines are very different in content. While I'll read this, I will not renew. Just a "heads up" for anyone who wants to purchase this magazine.

THE ONLY DIFERENCE BETWEEN THE ENGLISH VERSION AND SPANISH, IS THE THE GIRLS ON THE SPANISH ISSUES ARE HOTTER THAN THE ONES IN ENGLISH, BUT THE ARTICLES ON THE ONE IN ENGLISH ARE MORE SASSY AND FUN, I HAVE A FEW CO-WORKERS THAT JUST LOVE THE HISPANIC WOMEN, AND I AGREE WITH THEM,SPECIALY IF YOU LOOK AT BARBARA KARI FROM PARAGUAY, SHE IS A HOTTIE,AND WHO COULD FORGET THE ISSUE WITH SOFIA VERGARA, SHE IS A BOMB.

The idea behind this magazine is great, but unfortunately the actual magazine looks and reads like a mediocre high school newspaper, very amateurish. It is not a news magazine, they just put together pieces on historical figures and cultural events that seem to be copied from a bad encylopedia. Even though the topics themselves are interesting enough, the writing is unexciting and the overall style just looks cheap, no fluent Spanish speaker would want to read it. I have gotten five issues and they just pile up, I try to read them but they are just lame. When I took French in high school there was a little magazine we got every month or so that was way better than this, I'm surprised there isn't something better. Hopefully they will get a new editor before my subscription runs out.

I ordered this and got it 2 or 3 months later. you get 8 issues a year. so every two months you get a mag. It has beauty, tv, music & movie news, fashion, interviews, recipes and more. This magazine is mature and well put together. It's more for females than it is for males. you can read it in spanish and english. I also recommend Latina magazine.

H para Hombres is a Mexican Magazine puvblished in Spanish - It ranks in category along the same line as Playboy does in the USA in terms of class. While the girls do not appear nude, the pictorials are very provocative and you get to see mostly the high profile celebrities of Spanish Television, Films and Music. Some issues are better sellers than others so it pays to shop places like blujay.com and other online auction sites for comparison prices. I have seen issues sell for as little as 3.99 an issue which is the cover price. Look for the best values, you will find them.
