How anyone can use this beyond me. The seal between the cap and vacuum device is left to chance. Builds up your muscles but not the vacuum. Back it goes...poo!

Nice elegant little scotch glasses. I'd like something with a heavier more solid base myself, but these are OK for the price.

Although small in size; this stand keeps my decanter very stable. Also, the rubber tip on the end ensures no scratches on the glass bottom. I use it with a Riedel Ultra Magnum decanter with no worries.

I love the Riedel Ouverture series glasses and have the red wine, white wine and magnum sets. Only $8 per stem and the same shape as the much more expensive Vinum series. Supposedly, the no lead allows them to be put in the dishwasher, but I always hand wash them. Good light but strong wine glass with a nice length stem; many wine glasses have overly long stems. Don't know why more wine stores don't carry the Ouverture glasses. For me, they are the only ones to own.

At less than $5 for a set of 4 wine glasses, with free 2 day shipping who could say no? I didn't have really high expectations for these glasses since they were cheap, but I'm glad I purchased them. They are sturdy, and absolutely stunning on the table. They surely look like I paid at least 4x's what I paid. Amazon.com's service is just as great as the glasses. I ordered two sets of these, as well as two sets of the martini glasses. All of the glasses arrive in tact, but one of the wine glasses has a crack in it. I simply wanted to exchange that glass, not deal with the fuss and hassle of packing an entire set back up for a simple chip. Luigi's Bormioli's Esperienze wine decanter is the classic ship's decanter shape, but with an especially aggressive central punt (dimple in the middle of the bottom) and a series of concentric rings around the bottom. The rings and ridges are supposed to increase the rate of aeration. I don't know if that's true but everything about this decanter is designed to maximize aeration - from it's extremely generous 88oz size, very aggressive flair, and huge arcing punt. The big size really maximizes surface area at the bottom - a 750ml bottle fills the bottom less than an inch and a half and the surface area is huge.
