Moving into our new home, we decided to take the plunge and ditch our Walmart wineglass collection in favor of something a bit more formal. These wineglasses look lovely, are extremely durable and will not bust your budget. Be sure to buy these large sized wineglasses rather than the smaller (5 ounce or so) size. The only downside is Amazon shipping. For some reason, Amazon chooses to ship these wineglasses, which are boxed, in a shipping box devoid of packing material. Miraculously, they survived.

Almost threw away the wine bottle opener, but found the replacement part from Amazon. Saved another $150 for a new one.

Approximaqtely a third of the retail price because the box had been opened, but in new condition. Exactly what I needed and very fast delivery, but they were 7 1/2 oz size not 5 3/4. Didn't matter as I needed four of either size.

These are fine glasses, very versatile and a good value though I have lately seen them in stores like Target etc for the same price. I decided to replace my stemmed glasses, even though prettier than these "plain janes" because I used to have 8 and now have 6. I do want to point out the size listed is an accurate 17 oz. These are REALLY BIG glasses. You may find the money you saved on inexpensive glasses is spent on buying more wine when you use these big boys. And don't try to get away with saying "but officer I only had two glasses of wine".

This is my second purchase of these glasses. I broke 2 of the first 4 while handwashing. Now I have 6. I still like them though. They are a nice size, good value and perfect for Pinot Noir. My advice would be to hand wash gently.

From a design standpoint, this is a very good product. But the documentation is pathetic, and was clearly never tested with new / real users. There is no explanation of how it's supposed to work. That understanding is very helpful: with it, you'll never have trouble, and will marvel at the clever design. Let's get started. Have a bottle of wine handy on which you've already used the supplied (and very good) little foil cutter to remove the foil over the cork. Take the unit in your hand and look at the movable parts. The overhead lever that swings outward / downward and then is reversed / brought back over the top - moves the spiral corkscrew up and down.
