The pan is a little larger than I thought but it does a wonderful job. Once seasoned it is virtually non-stick.

This little pot is the perfect size to melt butter or make sauce or gravy. I was looking for an ideal size to melt butter and found this.....couldn't be happier. And with the great deals you can get from Amazon, I think I found this at a reduced price......I love Farberware products....take a licking and keep on ticking......

In the past, glazed nuts have always been special occasion treats, bought in small jars or cellophane bags and doled out sparingly. No more! The Back to Basics Nut Roaster easily glazes all my favorites - almonds, pecans, walnuts, cashews in a quick ten minutes on top of the stove. The roaster itself looks a bit like a deep fry pan with a mixing handle in the center. All I do is put the roaster on our electric cook top over medium high and then add nuts, glaze mixture (more about that later) and specified amount of water to pan. I opted for this aluminum popper instead of the stainless steel. Lesson learned. It does pop almost all of the corn. It's kind of fun to use. Guests and kids think it's cool. The popcorn it makes sure does taste good. Fits in the dishwasher. The lid fits properly for about the first week, then never again. Occasionally I have to fiddle with the gears to get it going again. The thin aluminum pan has become warped and no longer heats evenly. You get what you pay for.

What a great device, I used these for a clambake on Sunday, we had some timing problems getting the food out, it was about 20 minutes between courses simply due to the large amount of food, we had 30 lobsters and 17 pounds of steam clams. These kept the butter nice and warm throughout the entire meal. No having to pour the butter back in a pan and reheat. My biggest fear never materialized, that was overheating the butter, the candles were just far enough from the cups to keep the butter warm without burning it.

This little pan is great for cooking 1 egg, scrambled or fried, although stirring/flipping isn't easy in such a tiny pan. Still, it's so much better than using a larger skillet to cook just 1 egg because it tends to run all over even an 8-inch skillet. This pan works well for 1 veggie burger, too! Because of the small size, I have to use this pan on the smallest burner of my gas range so the flame doesn't come up around the pan. I am careful to hold the handle while cooking in this pan because it is so lightweight. But the cooking time is short, so that's not really an issue for me. The manufacturer recommends hand washing, which takes less than a minute. I took away 1 star because I think the product would be better if it was just an inch larger.
