I've had the machine for quite a while and have had a few good coffees from it. I've tried pretty much every pre-ground coffee including freshly roasted and ground and have yet to find one that consistently works. Where's the crema? Should it really be this difficult? I had coffee at a friend's made with his bottom-of-the-line Krups. He had crema! I'm actually planning to buy a new machine (I'm trying to figure out which) in hopes of finding one that makes an espresso that looks like something other than a tiny cup of coffee. This machine has worked without breaking but it's just too much work for too little reward.

After weeks of research we ended up selecting the Jura-Capresso ENA 4. I was a bit skeptical that this small little super automatic could really replace our larger manual and brew quality espresso. I went to a local retailer and was fortunate enough to be able to use a demo unit. I was amazed by how simple and intuitive the ENA 4 is to use; while at the same time provides a level of flexibility and control well beyond my expectations. This machine has been problematic from the beginning. I'm stubborn, so I've tried for one year to keep up with the maintenance and make the machine work properly. I'm finally ready to give up. If you decide to buy, read the maintenance instructions VERY carefully and do everything it tells you to do...good luck!

Love this machine - makes perfect coffee easily and conveniently - like as if it's from my local Peets (am using their great espresso beans). I did have a problem with my machine but it was quickly replaced by Aabree Coffee Company where i bought it from via Amazon. Now it is perfect. Didn't give it 5 stars as the plastic outer casing of the machine could hae a better fit and finish (it is after all a SAECO). But it's solid and I love it. This is a great machine - believe me I did a lot of research as I know my coffee!

I am the type of buyer who reads reviews on everything before I buy it and after reading some of the reviews on this product, I was hesitant to buy. Well, I decided to give it a shot and boy am I glad I did. This product has worked flawlessly every single morning for the past month. I LOVE IT. I want to marry it. No, seriously though, how anyone can not pour coffee out of the pot without spilling it all over the place, blows my mind. These must be the same people who run a car for 20,000 miles without an oil change and then write negative reviews regarding engine noise. I buy the espresso beans straight from the coffee shop, and anytime I want a latte or iced latte, it only takes about 5 minutes to make. Highest recommendation!
