I did a lot of research on chairs like this and no one came close to the price. I did not want to pay $150-$200 per chair for retro 50's diner style!... but I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" applies here :)... I also didn't want to wait 4-6 weeks, which seemed the normal turn-around time for other sellers (not on Amazon). First, the negatives. These chairs are not easy to put together. The back cushion holes don't line up perfectly with the screws and the screws are JUST long enough to catch in the hole. The instructions are easy to follow, but there are no hints (and the only tip offered is in poorly translated english that makes no sense). You have decent prices on items but your shipping prices are way too high, therefore you will be passed up due to your high shipping prices!Other sellers manage to get their S/H down in cost...so I will pass you up (again) on these chairs.

I have had a set of these chairs for over 15 years. We bring them out whenever we have a large dinner. They are strong, easy to use and nice looking. We don't have room for 12 chairs in our dining room, so keeping these in a closet works out beautifully. As my family is growing, I am thinking of getting another set. I also have a matching table, also strong and handy.

When we moved into our new house, we found we needed some extra counter and cabinet space. This lowboy has been wonderful. I am able to store all of my pots and pans in it-8, 6, 4, 3, 2, and 1 quart pots with their lids, 5 frying pans, and six stainless steel bowls-with no problem. There is ample space on top for keeping other items. It is made of stury solid wood with an attractive finish. My husband was able to put it together with no problems.

At first, I was a bit worried from reading reviews about bad experiences on furniture shipment, but I decided to give it a try. I ordered 6 chairs, and they arrived well packaged within 23 days. There was no confirmation or shipping info for 10 days, and they shipped immediately after I contacted the merchant. I received the "rich cappuccino" finish instead of "cappuccino" as it says here. So it's a nice dark (almost black, but not quite) finish, which I like, but it doesn't match with our cherry dining table. But for such a great price and after waiting for the chairs to arrive for so long, I didn't want to go through the hassle of asking for the correct item or wait again on delivery. I originally bought my Kitchen table and 2 chairs at K-Mart about 8 years ago. I still lived with my parents then but I just fell in love with the set. K-Mart had only 2 of the chairs but I knew of a store where I could order more. 8 years later I live in my own house and now need 4 more chairs!.... they have since been discontinued. Luckily I found them on Amazon...
