Compared with other similar brands these have more and tinier holes which makes for better cooling and less dropping of chunks through the pan. The rolled edges are great for cooling. Its a heavy weight item, will last long time. We keep it on the countertop with 3 or 4 can goods underneath to raise it up. Its my job to percolate the coffee and the pyrex parts to the glass pot are laid on the pan to dry. Also fresh roasted coffee beans from our roaster are tossed directly on the pan for cooling, which works better than colanders. So, basically the pan is used every day more than once. Otherwise a good storage place is in the oven alongside cookie sheet, roaster, and rubbermaid dishwash drain pad.

I bought this pan to use as a back-up while Calphalon was replacing our 12 skillet. It's served fine in this role. However, when it arrived, there was a noticeable dent in one side that obviously was NOT the result of shipping damage. I immediately called customer service at Amazon, explained the problem and suggested that the low price of the item, didn't warrant the shipping cost of replacement. Amazon quickly agreed and issued a refund for the full purchase price.

On a separate ccasion, I dropped lids on my kitchen floor and all my handles on the lids are broken. Get another pots and pans if you don't like to use broken handles. I don't recommend this item to anyone.

This is the only brand of non-stick cookware I will buy any more. It is truly non-stick, even on high heat with things like tofu that usually peel away and stick to other pans.

The pan has a nice heavy weight, no seam lines for dough to get stuck and make a big mess. Good non stick coating, dark color for even browning. Note, it was hard to get the residual glue from the label off the pans. Soaked in hot water for awhile which helped.

My husband had a set of this cookware when we began dating and I loved the vented lid and easy clean features. We needed to purchase a new set of cookware so I searched the internet for the same style of wearever aire cookware. I found the 8 piece set with vented lids and purchased it. This set of cookware isn't as heavy duty as our old set however I definately like the lid design better as the lids are much easier to grip. I am not crazy about the color - black - this was the only color available. I am giving this product three stars because I am not sure it will hold up as well as our old set since it isn't as heavy duty, the design of the skillet doesn't allow for coverage with a lid and I am disappointed with the smaller size of the pots.
