I bought this product for my grandson who has CP and has just started college. I wanted him to be able to have a microwave and checked out many brands until I found this one. It had features that make it easier for him to use.

This microwave arrived very quickly and my Mother is very pleased with the appearance and size. The only draw back is the 800Watts. We thought it would be enough to heat water in 1 minute but it takes almost 2 minutes.

I'd like to point out that this review is by a mere man. And when it comes to things of the kitchen my opinion doesn't count for much. I thought this microwave oven was just fine. I threw away the packaging in a fit of tidiness and confidence. I tried it out. It worked. What could possibly be wrong? We have had it now for three weeks and my wife has not stopped complaining. I didn't know that one could get so worked up about a microwave oven. True, without my glasses I can't see which button to press. Yes, it does take longer to cook anything than our last microwave oven. I have owned many microwave/convection ovens over the years. I find the Sharp micro/convection ovens to be the best. They are the easyest to operate. After owning five sharp microwave/convection ovens which I have used constantly every day for years, I would not consider buying any other brand.

Not had it long, but liking it so far. Everything I want from a microwave. Looks good, good size, fits large dinner plate, easy controls, sturdy and efficient. Very good price for a high quality microwave.

I gave this microwave to my mom for a gift. She loved it until the second month when the digital display buttons broke. Luckily it was under warranty but she still had to lug the microwave to a dealer to fix it.

This Microwave oven gets my highest rating even though Amazon only allows for five stars the oven is extremely fast and has the largest capacity for the price, also the quietest microwave oven I have ever heard or owned, I am amazed at the speed of cooking and reheating it can do and Amazon has the best and lowest price of any website I researched on, oven has a clock which was not stated on the description on the amazon page where it is located on there is however downfall to this microwave oven which I was very surprised to have witnessed for such an innovator of this type of oven they are known for their carousel that it did not have a luud beep when the oven is finished cooking or reheating you really have to be in a room that is very quiet to hear this beeping sound for when the oven is finished ... This Sharp microwave is very good,however we were sent a black model instead of the white one we ordered.We picked this particular model because it shows a white microwave and thats what my wife wanted.After the initial disappointment we decided not to send it back,we wanted this particular microwave and didn't want to take a chance there wouldn't be one left.
