We got this blender to make smoothies after my wife got addicted to the smoothie place next door. It does a brilliant job in just seconds of mixing however much you like. It is very stable and easy to wash, everything except the motor can go in the dishwasher. I read negative reviews about the noise, but it is not as bad as I was expecting, you can talk in the same kitchen with it going.

After having looked everywhere for a decent affordable blender, I thought maybe I had finally hit pay dirt with this machine. Alas, I was wrong again, it seems that the good old work horse blender of the old days is a thing of the past. This item is not all that bad,except that it is very loud, especially on "High", and it vibrates like a V-8 running on 5 cylinders - you must hold it so it doesn't scoot off the counter( when on "High" ). The lid is quite flimsy and doesn't prevent liquids from oozing out ( hold on baby! ). I guess this is what we must accept as the "norm" in the 21st century, what with Chinese motors and Mexican assembly plants. Not that it is their fault, because, after all, who is engineering the specs?? I would have expected a whole lot more from "Osterizer"

If the lid that accompanied this egg cooker was glass (as they used to be) or stainless steel, this might be a handy device. Unfortunately, the lid is plastic. And the lid is in constant contact with the part of the egg cooker that heats the water. The byproduct of this is that the lid will melt. I wish I had read the one-star reviews. They all say the same thing. Given the design of this, I can't imagine how anyone's plastic lid didn't melt. Perhaps these reviews are combined for an Oster product that's no longer on the market? One with a glass lid? Also, the instructions say that for cooking fewer than 8 eggs, more water may be necessary. But that's all. When it comes to steaming the food, it works quite well. The suggested cooking time is pretty accurate and straightforward. Where it loses points for me is what happens after the cooking is done... The steamer is very cumbersome and not very convenient to clean. It's rather awkward and easily susceptible to mold build-up if you don't... can't... clean it well enough, especially in the water reservoir area that can be seen from the outside. I plan to return mine and find something that can be used on the stovetop. The electric steamer can be dangerous with the element of water if you are not careful.

I have two beagles. 1 let me clip his nails and he was always an angel. The other put up a subtle, but persistant fight from day 1. She squirmed and wiggled and showed distress, but never bit or cried. All of that and I never once clipped a nail to show blood. I saw this product and decided I had to do something to ease my female beagles stress. So far so good!!!! It takes some work to get them used to it. It is a power tool. But it has an adjustable speed which afects the sound level as well. I started them both out at the lowest and just touched the tool to their bodies and then their feet to feel the vibration. alternate title: blender pron see also: drill breakfast some would say "review replacement gaskets?" but then i would tell them "yeh, amazon keeps emailing me about it so i guess i better, also im waiting for pizza" when you blow out yr blender motor, or if you dont have one, get a hex head bit from any hardware store, take in the blade to get a snug fit, put on drill (adjustable is preferred but not as fun) voila! gnarly blender. also, really want to impress her? use mason jars instead of the played out pitcher the gaskets work awesome

I have been through a lot of blenders, and they just don't hold up. This one is tough, and I don't need all the bells and whistles that other blenders have.

I was disappointed that you can only make one little milkshake at a time for it to work properly. Even after following the recipe specifications in the box, my milkshake was not super smooth. Not worth it, in my opinion.

These Blend-N-Go cups are awesome. I make a breakfast drink every morning and it is so nice to just pop the ingredients into the cup and put the blade, gasket and base on and blend away. You have to clean the aforementioned parts of the blender but you don't have to clean a big 40-ounce blender jar every time you make a drink. Just pop your blend-n-go cup in the dishwasher and you're ready to go. These are pretty good quality with a large heavy plastic straw and a strong acrylic/plastic cup. Enjoy!
