Yes, it's durable. My Golden usually opens holes in minutes but he's gone 2 weeks without damaging it yet. But this may be because the squeaker is very hard to squeak. If the monkey doesn't squeak why should he be interested in it? This monkey needs a better squeaker.

This is not Cotton; the tag says: "Contents: Polyester Fibers". We try to buy only natural content items for our dog, so this won't do. Also, at 4.5" and 1.5 lbs, it's quite heavy, hard, and large - even for our 70 lb flat-coated retriever. It could even potentially injure your pet if thrown a bit fast and/or in the wrong direction. Otherwise, seems well constructed though.

Looks cool. Looks like an idea. The material is just not durable. Our Australian Shepherd broke it apart in a few minutes.

Our dog loves this toy, but disembowels it within a few days. She's had four or five of these toys so far. They have squeakers in the heads and in the feet, so she usually gets several hours of enjoyment pulling the stuffing out until she reaches the squeakers (at which point we intervene and remove the squeakers). As long as you understand that your dog probably will destroy this toy within a few days or weeks, it's a great toy for the low price.

I bought this for my year old standard schnauzer and he chewed it up in minutes. It does have the cutest noise ever... a squeak, beep rattle combination. A small dog might be just fine with this. My dog did love it... to death.

I think the ball is unique and funny but I have a 2 lb Chihuahua and it was just to big for her to play with. Would be a perfect toy for a dog that weighs 15+.

My dog, a corgi, and my boyfriend's dog, a Shar Pei, both love this toy. It makes a grunt instead of a squeak which my dog likes a lot. I think the shape is appealing to both dogs.
