This GFG is amazing. I use it almost everyday and usually more than once a day. It is extremely easy to use. Does a fabulous job on everything. I have grilled everything from veggies, all types of meat and fish, pizza and even baked brownies. EVERYTHING tastes better! The amount of fat that comes out of even very lean meat is incredible! The different grill surfaces it comes with make it extremely versatile. It is so easy to clean as well. I really can't say enough about this George Foreman Grill. We love this George Forman grill with the removable plates! Not only does it cook up burgers, chicken, veggies, fish, steaks in no time - but it is a snap to clean up. The removable grill plates allow you to put this in the dishwasher. We liked our old grill - but it was a pain to clean. This is so much easier and it cooks up dinner/lunch very quickly. We bought some as gifts too. If you do not have an outside grill - this will do very nicely. We really like cooking with it.

As the other review mentioned, mine was broken after first use of searing. I followed the instruction, but after first time use, it kept giving me error message and would not work. In addition, it is really bulky/heavy and takes up quiet some space. I returned mine, and will not recommend it.

I thought about getting a George Foreman Grill for ages and never got one until now. I grilled a chicken breast and it cooked just like it was supposed to. The grill is large enough to cook for a couple of people and the little dripping collector caught all the grease without any problems. Cleanup was simple with a wet rag. Well worth the price.

Having happily owned a top of the line Hamilton Beach grill for the past 11 months til yesterday (dropped it and one of the hinges broke leaving the top lopsided), I desperately searched for a good replacement and found this puppy today at a local kitchen store going out of business. I put 2 good size burgers on the tray and less than five minutes after a good preheat, I found myself more happy with this grill than my previous one. Now I understand that I have only used it once, and haven't found yet too many things I could call an ergonomic flaw. But I can fit 4 of the same prepackaged burgers on this grill than my Hamilton Beach one, which I could only get 3. More width on the Hamilton, but less depth than the Foreman. This is so easy to use. Just plus it in and wait a few min. then throw on steaks, burgers, chicken or whatever. Put a little seasonng on the food and close the lid. It is very easy to clean- just wipe with a papertowel, food tastes great. The first one of these I had (exact same model) lasted more than 5 years before the top section quit heating. The bottom still worked but it took longer to cook. This is big enough to cook 3 or 4 good size steaks for the family.

After several months of light use, nonstick coating came off the removable plates. We took great care cleaning the plates, strictly adhering to the guides described in the product manual, but this happened anyway. Here is the worst part: even though our purchase was still under warranty, Salton was not willing to send us any replacement plates. They said they are out of stock two months ago, and are still "out of stock" as of last week, God knows if they will ever have these plates again. A terrible experience, will never buy from them again.
