I was so happy to find this pan because I needed something to replace the pan that came with my toaster oven. Unfortunately, after one use I was not so happy. The non-stick coating came off in sections. I washed it by hand, using gentle dishwashing liquid, so it should not have happened. After seeing the flaking, I'm afraid the non-stick coating will come off onto the food I'm cooking, so I haven't used it since without lining it with aluminum foil. I have quite a bit of Nordic Ware and I'm really disappointed that they would put out such a shabby product.

I had looked a several web sites for a broiler pan that was dishwasher-safe. Almost all of them had small broiler pans, but they were labeled "hand wash". The one that I ordered from Amazon was "dishwasher safe". I followed the direction for care. It was amazing!! All residue washes off readily by hand; therefore no need for the dishwasher. Following the directions for treating the pan before use really works!! I am very pleased with my purchase. V. Gage

The coating flakes off within a couple of uses. This is the poorest quality bakeware I have ever seen. Don't buy it. Nordic should be ashamed of themselves.

Bought this about six years ago specifically to bake frozen apptizers in my toaster oven. I don't heat the oven above 400 deg. Have had no trouble with the coating coming off. The rack's only use is to cover damp carpet after I've cleaned up cat barf. Then no one walks on the spot that's being air dried. Only 4 stars because the pan is much smaller than most toaster ovens are now.

There are some things that I didn't know till it was too late. The restocking fee and the shipping made it not feaseable to return, let alone that we destroyed the shipping box to get it out of the box. The original packaging was required to return. I didn't buy it from Amazon. This was the first wall oven I have ever purchased. Here are a few things that I didn't like: 1. Really cheesy racks, like a toaster oven. hmmmm 2. Teeny tiny upper oven 3. Takes forever to heat up 4. Vents hot air out the front (probably why it takes forever to heat up, it immediately vents hot air.) It does not have the ability to hook up to a normal venting which I have from my old oven. 5. This venting is also with a fan, so if the power should go out, you could not use the oven at all.
