This ain't your mother's Revere Ware! It's NOT 18-10 Stainless, it's thinner metal, and it's made in CHINA - not the USA as the new corporate conglomerate wants you to think. (the original "Revere Ware" company ceased US production years ago and only the "brand name" is now owned by World Kitchen, LLC. 2006) Besides being 'burned' by this faux-patriotism, you will likely be actually burned by the incredibly bad design of the dinky phenolic-resin lid actuator as the tender back of your fingers contact the boiling-hot steel top! (maybe only tiny chinese underage olympic hands fit properly...?) I've used this teakettle every day for a few months. First the inside was just corroding away, even with rinsing and emptying. Then, the whistle stopped working. Then the handle cracked. That was it. Threw it out. I guess I got my money's worth, but it's not one to last any length of time at all.

This looks very nice in my kitchen. It was the best price I have found for a tea kettle this size, and I like the fact that you can pop open the spout and it stays open.

I wasn't sure about this product from the reviews, but I took a chance and bought it. It is a great product for the price. I use it everyday!

After using this kettle, I decided to buy other cookware in this KitchenAid Red line. I especially like the way the handle remains cool to the touch. And no, despite other reviews, it does not drip when I use it.

I also bought this kettle a few months ago. It's beautiful, and boils the water super fast, all my guests loved it, but the switch is not working properly and doesn't stay on. so I can't boil the water anymore

I have now had this kettle for several months and it is holding up better than hoped for. I would highly recommend this product even if the price were higher. As it is, it is also a great value.

I got this thermo pot as a baby shower gift from one of my girlfriends, who is a veteran mom. It's great to have ready hot water with a baby, it's easy to use, the water is always hot. The size is perfect for our use. My Mother-in-law likes it so much we bought it for her as a thank you gift for helping us so much the last few months. It's easy to use, just that there's mineral build-up, have to use the mineral removal pills to clean up the pot once every two months. Other than that, it's reliable, easy to use, I highly recommend it.

Good size, not too big. Fits on 6" stove burner. Nice looking, good price. Extremely loud whistle, at least for a small house. The whistle end must be taken off and replaced manually for pouring. I'm good with not losing stuff like that, but I suppose it could be a problem for some.
