The pan is very shallow, but works so well for eggs - the cleanup is a snap & the temperature is even throughout, so things cook nicely. Don't pass this one up - I tossed another old non-stick pan when I received this one. I have lots of other Calphalon & this pan is just as good as the ones I paid much more for.

I bought this for my husband who loves the Belgian waffles he gets at hotels and restaurants. This is as close to those as you can get, from what I can tell. He used the recipe that comes with it, which worked fine. He likes that it will store upright, not taking up too much space. So far, no issues with plates not fitting snugly, or any other defects. have had it for a month, used it a few times.

This griddle does not heat evenly at all! I have tried using it twice and have given up, as I am tired of ruining perfectly good food. Both times I set the burners on medium-low heat and tried to make pancakes. If part of a pancake was over the burner and part of it was not, the part of the pancake that was over the burner would literally burn black and the other part would be raw. I thought that perhaps this was because I am using a flat-top electric range, but I read another review where someone complained of having the same problem with a gas range. I would really like to know the secret of all the people who are happy with this product, b/c I had such high hopes and am sorely disappointed! :(

This Lodge Pro-logic griddle was actually my very first cast iron piece. Previous griddles I owned were those non-stick, teflon-coated types which peeled away eventually. Very frustrating. A friend recommended this and I seasoned it according the instructions that came with it. Now I have just enough of a coating to prevent any sticking, and makes over-easy eggs, pancakes, crepes, French toast, bacon, and warming tortillas a snap. And, with proper care & recurring seasoning, it will last several lifetimes. Highly recommended.

No kidding, we're talking Really, REALLY BIG! As in, fry nine eggs big. Or a half pound of bacon big. Or eight grilled cheese sandwiches big. All at the same time, and the food is evenly cooked, golden brown and delicious. In fact, the first use I put the Big Griddle to was pancackes... it absolutely makes the best pancakes you'll ever eat! AND... it makes them six-to-eight at once. Get ya a nice big STACK goin', and eat 'em while they're hot... not one at a time in a pan, trying to keep the first few warm while you cook the last one. This pan is excellent. It heats quickly and evenly, and makes panini in just minutes. The nonstick surface is quick to wipe clean. I got this pan because I didn't want another electrical appliance taking up space in my kitchen. The pan more than does the job. I have also used it to cook steaks, and it works great for that, too. I highly recommend this product for quick hot sandwiches, and as an occasional substitute for an outdoor grill. It's a quality pan.

I love the pan, and used it a lot. Great for eggs, sandwiches, etc. Like another reviewer here, I have a glass-topped, electric range. The pan warped significantly- it will no longer lie flat on the range and that makes the heat uneven. After about a year of use, the non-stick finish is wearing off in some spots as well. So, it can be a nice, functional pan, but be sure to use only medium-high heat under it- especially if you have an electric range. And if you want the non-stick to last, you must be very careful in cleaning it. (Keep it away from teenagers!).

Since I started to make whole-wheat pancakes in the morning, I was using my old reliable cast-iron skillet. But the hot spots were driving me crazy, the batter often stuck to the bottom, and the skillet was a pain to clean. So I finally got myself this Circulon griddle, and wow, what a difference. The pancakes don't stick, even without oil or butter; they all brown evenly; and clean-up takes about half a minute. The griddle's handle juts out so far that it sort of gets in the way, so I end up turning it to the side while I'm cooking. But the handle also stays cool, making it easy to transport finished food from stove-top to table. Don't wait as long as I did to get this griddle. It has lots of uses apart from breakfast, and the results are great.

I am so happy with this krumkake iron!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is easy to use and the recipies included are great! The chocolate ones are just as good as the plain ones. The cookies took about 40 seconds to bake and they slide right off with a silicone spatula. Can't be happier!!!!!!!!!!!
