This Cuisipro grater is fantastic. It's long and lean, so it fits better in my kitchen drawers than a wide grater, and it's sharp. We've used it several times to grate parmesan cheese, and it makes the cheese so soft and fluffy it melts right into whatever we're cooking or serving. We put it right in the dishwasher and it comes out clean every time, no rust. I am tempted to buy a second one so that there's always one handy. I can't imagine trying to handwash it! It would shred the sponge.

Well, I've had this rasp for years now and it still performs like the day I got it. The zester is essential to all bakers (home cooks or pros). I previously owned the zester that had no handle, and purchased this one because I thought it would be easier to use (not that the other one was "difficult" but this one is definitely better in design). The handled one allows you to zest even near the end of the lemon with the curved part of the grater. Lemons, oranges, and limes are what I use it for mostly. I used to use it for parmesan, but found that it was almost too fine of a grate, so I just purchased the medium ribbon grater by Microplane (skinny, long one too) and it's perfect for the job. Nice big cheese cloth. My wife had to cut it in half since it was very big. We like that it is unbleached too.

We used this fondue pot for beef/chicken fondue a couple of weeks ago and it was great. Got the oil to temp in good time. I like the shallow, wide design of the pot compared to my old standard deep, sterno-driven pot. I just wish the Rival had a lid to go with it.

These Microplane graters are wonderful, and I only recommend the Professional versions. If you use your graters a lot, the plastic edges of the cheaper versions will eventually break, so spend the extra few dollars and get this steel edged Professional version to start with. I just replaced two plastic edged graters myself because they broke within nine months.

I have been using this for two years, and the grater is wonderful. But the first trip the the dishwasher (top rack) it was nearly impossible to get the box to fit on the bottom. The bottom part warped, making the box useless. I still love it, using it over a plate/cutting board. But the box was junk.

I bought this based on previous reviews thinking that I could slice through a standard "baby loaf" block of cheese. No such luck. This is designed for those little premium cheeses that you put out at parties. I attempted to use this to slice pepper jack cheese. Not happening. Tore through the cheese instead of slicing. Took off huge chunks at the corners of the block. I figured it was the tiny bits of pepper it was getting hung up on so I tried regular old cheddar. Still took off corners in chunks. Not a good item for everyday cheese slicing for sandwiches. Does a great job on small cheeses that are only a total of about 3 inches wide.
