Contrary to my other Kitchen Aid accessories, this item is not chrome but plastic tinted grey to LOOK like chrome. My original idea was that it would look nice with my brushed aluminum appliances but of course in comparison it just looks like the cheap plastic piece of garbage it is. The industrial design is not good either, as the square base cannot be pushed square against the counter top as then it can't rotate. The bottom has a non-skid surface so when I tried to slide it out from the back of the counter top so it could rotate, instead the entire frame fell into pieces. I didn't even have to get the spices out to know this thing is the worst. It's also way too tall to hide out in the pantry shelves. Avoid.

We replaced all of the plastic storage containers with these glass containers. They aren't expensive, they work well and they are arguable much safer for us and the environment. What's not to like? They could use some larger matching bowls.

Wine lovers best friend - makes opening wine bottles easy and works great for hands suffering from Arthritis. Instructions say to cut the bottle wrap surrounding the cork, but this works without having to do that extra step. Amazing value for the low price!

Got this for cherry season - works well but sometimes the pusher doesn't push the seed all the way out and you have to pull it - this gets really tedious when pitting enough cherries for 3 pies at a time. Other than that it has a good feel in the hand and does get the job done better than manually with a chopstick.

My daughters love these because they are so large. I struggle with getting the popsicles out of the mold though. Often I end up pulling the handle part out with no popsicle attached and they have to eat it with a spoon.

I've had 2 of these, and just as several other reviewers have noted, the lid is prone to break. The first 1 came from Costco, and the lid stopped going up after a few months, so I took it back and exchanged it. The 2nd one worked fine for a while, but became very erratic. It would open, and then slowly drift back to closed instead of staying open. It would also make grinding sounds as the lid gear was slipping. Finally, the gear for the lid completely broke off from the rest of the lid, and now the unit doesn't work at all. One other issue is that the lid is a bit slow to open. Sometimes it works Ok, but at other times it seems we have to wave something a few times in front of it before it finally decides to open. Very solid brush. The bristles are stiff, should be no problem scrubbing lots of root vegetables for a long time. The handle is slightly rubbery to make gripping easy. I like this brush a lot. Only one complaint. When I placed one bristle-side down on an "across the sink" dish draining rack for several days, one of the rack's bars pushed some of the bristle groups apart. So, now, the brush has "bristles akimbo." The brush was lying on the rack at a strange angle, but I had not used any force to jam the brush into the bars. So, I was disappointed that the bristles were susceptible to this.
