the K cup reusable coffee filter is wonderful...when I want a fast cup of coffee.... with the brand of coffee I purchase at the grocery store....all I need to do....is to put the ground coffee in the reusable filter and presto...I have a wonderful cup of fresh brewed coffee..just the way I like it ...no need to purchase the expensive ready made type.

I bought this kettle for my dorm. I didn't want to spend a lot on my first electric kettle. I think for the price it works well. The disadvantages that you may want to look at are 1) The cord length is quite short. So if your plug point is near the floor, you can't keep it on the table. 2) The heating coil inside is visible outside and hence you will need to boil atleast 2 cups of water to keep the water level above the coil. This means more water wastage and more time to get it boiled. 3) I don't think it has "auto off" feature. Even if it has it's not reliable But if you want a kettle for short term use.. It works!!

I've had this a couple of weeks now, and this is all I use now for making coffee for myself. Others have written about the finer points and techniques, and I can't really improve on their suggestions. This is so simple and easy to use that you really can't go wrong with it.

Personally, I like the black chrome over the stainless steel. The stainless steel looked dirty, like it belonged in a garage or something. Other than that, I think the retro look is a little too retro. The knobs and switch look like something from Radio shack. They could have done a little better than that. At least I know where to get replacements. Yes the display is hard to read and yes water level indicator sucks, but do you want a coffee maker or a another clock in the kitchen, and don't you usually put the right amount of water in the pot first before you pour it in? Nitpicking stuff I think. Compared to my old Mr. Coffee (circa 1999) it makes coffee a little slower. The Mr. Coffee would do 8 cups in 7 minutes and this one took 10. I knew that electric "tea" kettles existed but until I bought the Braun WK200W from Amazon on impulse (at a "Gold Box" price and after reading many reviews of it on Amazon and elsewhere on the web) I had no idea how convenient such a device could be. With this baby, I can boil water fast and pour it into a pre-heated pot on the stove for boiling pasta. I can make a cup of press-pot or cone-filtered coffee in much less time than it takes when boiling water on the stove. I can have a late night cup of herb tea or Postum just like that instead of waiting for the stove top kettle to finally boil. Instant oatmeal for breakfast, bing, bang, boom. I love it. As you might guess, I broke the original carafe that came with my Cuisinart coffee maker, and was happy to find this one on Amazon, which also had the best price compared to other internet sources. The glass on this replacement carafe is noticeably thicker and more durable than the original one. Aside from this improvement, it's exactly the same as the original, fits perfectly in the coffee maker, and still makes great coffee like before.

I used to store the coffee k-cups in plastic zip lock bags and store in a kitchen cabinet. I purchased 2 of these coffee holders, one for me and one for my sister. It is the best creation as it is small and holds enough k-cups to last me a couple of weeks. Just love it.

I purchased this product as an early birthday present for my husband. Imagine both of our disapointments when we found the grinding assembly was not assembled properly. The grinder would not turn because a part was missing and the grinder rubbed against the side of bean holder freezing it in place. The bummer is that I tossed the return slip before I checked it for flaws and now have waited too long to return it - so I have to eat the cost. I'm surprised that a usually quality manufacturer such as Krups would have such poor quality control. It was made in Mexico.
