I bought this for my mother and mother-in-law for mother's day. I had the front and back engraved and it looks very nice. The chain is nice as well and not one of those very fine flemsy chains. It's a little hard cutting a picture out to put in the heart but you would have that problem with any heart shape.

This is a very nice pendant. The heart shape was a big hit. The packaging was outstanding. Minor complaints -the stone was paler than I expected. I think this is because I'm used to the color of fake aquamarine. Also, the chain is on the short and thin side. Still, outstanding value for the price. I recommend it.

The butterfly was so much smaller than I expected. I did not see the size until my niece took it out of the box. She acted pleased but I thought she may have been hiding what she really thought. I was very disappointed. My niece is 27 years old and the necklace was more the size for a small child, yet far to small to be safe for very small children. It would be great to have an idea of what size jewelry pieces are before you buy. Use some kind of size meter or on screen measuring method.

This pendant is beautiful. I wasn't sure how large 4 1/4 carats would be for a green amethyst stone. It's much bigger than I expected for the price. The stone just fits inside the diameter of a dime. It is free of imperfections and is a great, unique piece.

the reason i say third time is that i have plowed through (broken) two previous thin snake chains which were not as sparkling and lovely as this one! this seems to be the strongest thus far, and the least expensive. it is quite thin and the length is as advertised. the clasp seems to be strong and is easy to use.
