This little pedaler works so well for my parents. They are both in their eighties and mom uses a wheelchair because her legs aren't strong enough to hold her due to a stroke. My step-father loves to sit and pedal while he reads and mom uses it for her arms though I hope she will eventually be able to use it for her legs. It is so convenient and simple for them to use. No you won't build up the stamina for a marathon using it, but you can get some nice cardio workout using it. Great for anyone who can't use heavier gym equipment or doesn't have the room for it. Probably would be great in an office while sitting at the desk or at home while watching tv.

I have been using this unit for over a year. My daughter has cystic fibrosis which causes significant lung issues. It says the filter never has to be replaced, just vacuumed. I have been doing that, but only the pre filter was clogged with dust, and allot of it. The large barrel hepa filter on the top was always white and never dusty. I decided to unscrew some screws on the bottom under the rubber feet to investigate. The instructions are sparse and do not tell you how to get the unit apart for easy cleaning. I found a large ring of packing styrofoam blocking any air from getting to the hepa filter, so the small carbon pre filter was the only one doing the job. Does the job, and the beeps and last temp recall are very handy features. I would have been thrilled to find exactly this thermometer with a backlight, but I can't seem to find one that doesn't also beep constantly while in use (rather than just to indicate readiness). The only other drawback is that it seems to be a bit delicate. If anything but the very tip gets wet, the display goes blank or partially blank, and it needs to be dried out before it will work properly again. I haven't found this to be the case with other thermometers.

If you have that 40 year old reach to read things be careful the button descriptors on this product are in small print. Otherwise as a heart rate monitor this seems to be working well. I use primarily in the gym and the monitor has great range as far as I can see my rate on the adjacent machines if others are not using monitors as well. My boyfriend keeps me in check that way!

It's unisex, easy to use, and has all of the features a runner needs without all of the expensive frills. I chose the RS100 because it had features that the women-specific watches did not, including interval timers, two zone limit monitors, and a back light (essential if you run at night or cross train in spin class where the lights are usually low). I recommended spending a half hour reading the manual and setting up the watch that way. It covers every feature simply and clearly. Being able to set my own heart rate and percentage limits is great since those numbers change as my fitness improves. I also like that the running total tells me the percent of calories burned from fat, super essential for proper training. The total only keeps track of one run at a time, which is fine. ...
