I love this monitor. It is a little slow to start, be sure to wet the strap first. Once you start your warm up it gets going. My favorite fitness tool! I won't exercise without it. It's a great purchase for the price.

I've had this unit for about 3 weeks now. It replaced another unit sold by a local drugstore, which was good, but just didn't put out the volume of humidity needed. The good: The unit can really put a lot of humidity into the air quickly. It is relatively quiet at all speeds. The lower the speed, the quieter. At the highest output level, you will have to refill the tank after just a few hours. On the medium and low speeds the unit easily goes overnight or all day. The bad: It really does have a tricky cap. It is hard to tighten it just so to keep it from leaking. What did you do right this try that you didn't do right the other three? The other minus is that the top of the water tank is rounded, so it is impossible to set it on a flat surface in order to tighten the cap or do anything ... Read More

In this day and age it is hard to understand why everyone isn't using rechargable batteries. I own about 6 packs of these batteries. They are wonderful. I bet I have saved hundreds of dollars so far and keep saving. Why pay $4.00 to $5.00 for one pack of batteries that get used once and thrown away when you can purchase these and reuse them 1000 times. I absolutely refuse to by disposable batteries for the most part. It is true that they don't quite have the power of normal energizer alkaline batteries so they might be an issue for certain things that use a lot of power. For example Digital Camera's take a lot of power. But for the most part these work really well and I have used them for 3 - 4 years now. I highly recommend them to everyone.

This helps clean the air but the replacement filters are way too expensive and I think you can save money paying more for one with a permanent filter. This product will send you to the poor house and I do wish I had purchased something else. I have 3 of these and it gets very expensive to replace filters and a filter only lasts about 30 days. Consider another product if you need an air cleaner!

I got a lot of these Crane humidifiers. We have a lot of minerals in our water, so I got these filters. Some of the humidifiers made too much noise to use in a bedroom. They are extremely cute, though, and inexpensive. I got white dust everywhere even with the filters, even after also using water run through another charcoal filter. If you are serious about these humidifiers, you need to use distilled water. Then you won't need these filters. About the white dust, I mean literally everywhere, inside the DVD player for instance. I have quit using all of the Crane humidifiers and put them away. I was really sad about this, because they are so cute. They did raise the humidity about 10%. We live in the desert, it is very dry in the winter.

It is very easy to use and very easy to read. I programmed it and started using it right away. It worked so well, I bought one for my wife and one for my Mom.

It's a bit noisy but it's constant and not grating. I had a sonic humidifier last year that put a lot more moisture in the air than this though. - This is the key for me, how much humidity it can actually produce and this one doesn't produce enough. It produces some and might be good enough for a single small room. - I do like that this one is flat on top which lets me sit it on the counter to fill it using the filtered water pitcher. I think it would be harder to use filling it with the sink faucet though. - The info on amazon says it's dishwasher safe but the manual it came with says not to run it through the dishwasher. This was another reason I bought this one and I haven't tried running it through yet and at the very least if it breaks as a result you're probably not going to ... Read More
