You have to be a little careful when using these for obvious reasons. I don't feel comfortable going for pedicures like my wife, but I have a problem of calluses forming on my heels. These and their associated tool get the job done well, much better than scissors which are not safe for the task.

Great for paring and sculpting the thickest of calluses in relatively little time. If you suffer from build-up, it's worth every penny. If you have toenails that are prone to being ingrown, you need this tool. It is easy to keep your nails in good order with it. It works very well, and is sturdily constructed - not at all flimsy.

I happened to run across these tweezers when looking for something else online. I quickly realized these would meet a purpose at home - besides ingrown hairs, they're excellent for pulling splinters and, a problem for me, nails that splinter on my hands and feet. Besides a regular pair of blunt edge tweezers, every home should have a pair of these around for those problems that the blunt edge tweezers just can't handle. The tips are just as sharp as they look so you do want to keep the little rubber tube over them when not in use to avoid accidental sticks. Well made, these are worth the price!

This mirror is advertised as optically correct but it is NOT. There is considerable distortion around the edges which is clearly evident when it is held at at arm's length. I have another mirror of the exact same size and shape sold by Zadro which is optically correct and has no discernable distortion. I noticed the Tweezerman is made in China. Maybe they used to be better. A lot of stuff from China looks just like the original product with a quick superficial inspection but often the quality materials and workmanship are not there.

I hate to get pedicures. But, I have rough skin on the ball and heels of my feet, as well as on the bottom of both big toes. I tried softening the rough skin with gobs of lotion after showering and then quickly putting on socks, but I still had rough feet that snagged on our smooth bedsheets, and probably killed the "ooh-la-la" factor of playing footsie with my husband. This tweezer was purchased after a month-long search for a nail-clipper style cuticle clipper (LaCross seemes to have ceased selling one... Finally found one at Wegman's)... back to Tweezerman. Tried it on finger cutlicles, and ended up with a few bruises & nicks... it's way too sharp and unwieldy - especially if you're not ambidextrous - so it's hard to get to the target spot without taking off a bit extra (sorry for the graphic violence!). But it works great on toes, so I kept it. Leather-like case is critical, if you don't want to poke yourself trying to get Tweezerman out of a drawer crevice. (4 stars for toes, 1 if fingers).

now I'm no world champion moustache grower but if I was i'd probably still use this product. The scissors are super sharp and come with a lifetime guaranty of free sharpening. The comb is a tad big for me but I'm just growing a Dalí stache. Overall this product seems like it will last a long time if you take care of it.
