Apparently we bought a defective scale. The thing could not make up its mind what weight we have. The digits run riot. Only twice did it give a final figure. All other times we could stand minutes and minutes on the scale, and it kept blinking digits. What is going on? No discussion of this problem in the instructions, nor on the website of the manufacturer. We've sent it back, and are waiting for its replacement.

The most important characteristic for a scale for me is that it measures my weight accurately and does not give signfigantly different readings when tried many times in quick succession. This scale matches well with the one at my doctor's office and it gives repeatable readings. The other features are not very important to me and this is the cheapest scale I could find to meet my needs.

Scale records my weight two pounds less than my correct weight. I only discovered this from weighing on a professional scale at the gym. I called the company and they said it's a defective scale and I should exchange it through Amazon. In process of doing this. Hope it won't be a headache.

Bought this scale because of the large footprint (can hold my dog, sort of) but immediately as you step on it it feels like cheap thin plastic that bends and might break. The color of the scale seems to be a yellowish white rather than the bright white the company shows. In short, it is not pretty (would fit right in with that 80's bathroom) and feels cheap, but seems mostly accurate and can store the last 5 weighs.

I bought this and it worked just fine for a couple of months. Now it fluctuates 6 to 10 pounds high to 6 to 10 pounds low, all within minutes. I will not buy a product like this from Amazon again, since there is no recourse after 30 days. Major bummer.

This scale is very accurate (it gives the same weight as my doctor's scale...unfortunately, lol) Because of the low profile it is easier to get onto the scale with my bad knees and the larger size means that I don't have to do a balancing act while trying to weigh myself. And, unlike other scales I've owned, I don't have to stand in exactly the same place everytime to get the correct reading. Buy this scale, you won't be sorry.

Ever notice that when you go to the Dr. you weigh way more than your scale at home says you do? This scale was the same as my weight taken at my doctors office, to the ounce. So if you want a scale that is VERY accurate this is the one. If you prefer one that is kinder to you get one at a department store. :P

Pros: Very nice looking scale. I like the way you get all the different read outs. Very easy to use and set up. Cons: Some of the read outs changed for the worst over the course of a day, first the reads were good than the next day they were bad kind of confusing , but I'm still getting the hang of it.
