As I said in my review of the razor, this is just a great razor and cleaning system. I've had mine for over a year. The cartridges last longer than advertised (kind of like changing your oil in your car every 3 months)...but I also cheat a little and usually clean my razor under water when I'm done shaving and only run it through the system every 2-3 days. Easy to use. Great system. The price / availability is the best on Amazon.

Just plain useless. Was not returned because then Amazon's free shipping would be cancelled. I then ordered the 415, becuase I had that one originally. Subsequently it has been modified, and is just a bit better than this one being reviewed. Either poor quality control, or they tried so hard not to cut you, that these cut nothing.

I bought the Panasonic ES8109S Vortex Wet/Dry Shaver with Nano Technology and HydraClean System, at age 50 (still young in my book). It is my first electric razor. I did a good bit of research and was looking at another razor which has commercials being aired all day long. This commercial claims that it really gets the neck very well and the new design allows for an overall new electric razor experience. I've probably gone through 4-5 of these shavers. I use it daily in the shower with Dove soap. I have an average beard- not real heavy or light. Gives a good close shave without cuts or burns. If I skip shaving more than 2 days it takes a while longer to get a good shave. Keep it on the charger when not in use and it always has plenty of power.

My boyfriend loves this razor; apparently it gives a much closer shave than any electric razor he's tried. My only complaint is that it's also substantially louder than other electric razors.

I read a lot of reviews on electric razors and compared on paper the Norelco, Panasonic, and Braun. My top criteria were closeness of shave and price, although I liked the fact that the Panasonic was a wet shaver as well. I received the product quickly after purchasing on Amazon. The price was very good since there was a $[...] Panasonic rebate offered at the time. The razor works as described. I use it with shaving cream and I get a fairly close shave, almost as close as the Gillette V mach fusion razor which I was using prior. The only exception is the neck area, which I have to go over with the Gillete. Overall this is an excellent razor and I have no regrets in the purchase.

I've had this model for about three years. It's worked fine for about two and a half of those years. Pros: simple design easy to change battery Cons: Although the blades are easy to access they are not easy to clean Weak - struggles to work Been nicked a number of times (no idea how but it hurts like hell).
