I have got the curliest hair possible. Apart from being curly, my hair has a lot of volume too. This makes it hard for any hot iron to make it straight in one go. But this product works amazingly to any kind of hair.

i had wanted a bonnet type hair dryer and found one at Amazon. It is nice but doesn't dry the hair as good on one side of my head. I will try to sit a different way and see if this is better. I do like having several choices of heat. thank you

I've found this hair dryer to meet my needs drying my longer hair, and it's a much appreciated lighter weight than my last one. However, I do wish it was a little quieter on high speed, or else have a medium speed setting to select.

This iron heats quickly and does a great job smoothing. Mine let's you set your own heat settings and the higher settings are indeed very hot, good for curly hair. I now have the hot tools irons in all sizes. I first bought the 1" and loved it and have slowly added to my collection, so that I can get different looks. I have naturally tight curls, that are unruly. I use the 1 1/2" when I want an almost straight look, but want the sides to go back a bit, and the back to have some really big loose curls / waves. I use the 1 1/4 inch to get the Jessica Simpson / Daisy Duke look. I use the 1" for medium size loose curls (Easy to shake out), and the smaller size for tight curls or corkscrew curls. I am so happy with my purchase! I have long, thick, Asian hair and A LOT of it. I love the look of curly/wavy hair, but it usually takes such a long time for me to curl ALL of my hair so my hair's usually left straight. But ever since I got this curling iron, all that has changed! With the large barrel, strong spring grip, and high heat level, I'm able to curl large chunks of my hair at a time, which really saves a lot of time. My favorite look is to curl all my hair first, then lightly hairspray it for soft big curls. I definitely recommend this product! You won't regret it!

Received this item promptly--- Easy to assemble- I have used it several times with good results- Seems to make hair very shiny and it looks better after drying-- Adjustable hood makes it very comfortable- I either use my computer or read while drying my hair- Only "knock" is that on high heat it is quite warm- Of course, after the summer this will be less of a problem. I am very satisfied with this product- and the price was outstanding-

i've only used my iron a few times, and i must say i am overall satisfied...i mean, for the price, it works well...i didn't have any outrageous expectations.i only gave it 4 stars because i've only had it for over 1 month...so , i don't know how long mine will last...If it'll last me years, then, id give it 5.....

This iron creates beautiful curls or waves depending on how you curl the hair. I love hot tools because this is one of the few brands that can curl my hair fast and give my hair lasting curls. Tourmaline ceramic is great; my hair feels soft rather than dry after using this iron. I also love that it comes with a little bag. It keeps the iron from getting scratched when I store it with my other irons. If you can choose the seller, pick DiscountJungle. Their prices are almost always cheaper...but beware, shipping is about $10. However, the item always arrives quickly. I've used DiscountJungle twice now. Both times the items arrived two days after I placed the order.

Bought this iron because the more expensive version was out-of-stock. Glad I did-- it works as well as I would ever need. Shapes the curl into place quickly and at least with my hair lasts. It is lightweight and has the plastic on the end so you can hold it.
