I like this organic chocolate milk. It is creamy and is better while serving cold. Fat is reduced as stated but it is not enough. It needs to cut more fat and sugar.

My 2 year old loves this milk, drinking at least 1 per day for the past 2-3 weeks. He began having digestive issues and complaining of belly aches, so I googled the ingredient listed as carrageenan. It's a "natural" thickening agent used in soy milk and other organic products that causes many people to experience the same symptoms my son has experienced. In fact, many people who drink certain brands of soy milk containing carrageenan mistakenly attribute their digestive problems to the soy, when it's actually the carrageenan. My daughter grew up with this strawberry milk. She started drinking it after we stopped formula. Even now, this is the only milk she likes. Excellent product. However, it is difficult to find in the local supermarkets and warehouses (they mostly have the chocolate flavor Horizon), especially in the multicarton package. I wish Costco and BJ's carried this strawberry-flavor Horizon milk.

I am so happy I found out Amazon offers this product. It's being shipped to my house monthly, I don't have to think about it. The stores in my city that carry aseptic milk are not convenient for me to get to and Costco only carries chocolate. This is perfect for me to pack in my pre-schoolers lunch and I like knowing that I have milk on hand that will not spoil in the event of a power outage. Now if I could find whole milk in aseptic packaging to carry in my 1 year old's diaper bag I would be even happier.

After researching Horizon Products (milk, yogurt, sour cream, etc.) I found out that they have the fields of organic grass, but they do not let the cows out into it. In fact, there are pictures of every time of day with cows sitting in the dirt looking into the fenced pasture. In order to be considered "organic", the farm where Horizon gets their milk to make all their products has the pasture to qualify by law, but apparently that's all they need. BEWARE, AND DO YOUR EXTENSIVE RESEARCH FIRST! google "horizon organic scam". Amazon would not let me post a link for everyone...so PLEASE google this for yourself before buying anything from horizon.
