I'm a female with hirituism (due to PCOS) and I have had a problem with male-like beard growth since I was 13 years old. Ever since that age I have been shaving the hair on my chin and cheeks, and the hair just got fuller and more coarse over the years. On top of that, I have developed razor bumps and hyper pigmentation from shaving so often (every other day). My chin area just looks disgusting and has often prevented me from feeling feminine/attractive or getting close to others for fear of them seeing it. I have also used the Braun for over two years and it has run flawlessly. I too have problems with it leaving random hairs on my neck (despite my best efforts to get them) that I need to clip off with the clipper attachment from time to time. Otherwise it is an excellent,comfortable shaver that I highly recommend.

I bought this shaver (Pulsonic)and after 5 months its vibration was getting more noticable. Braun referred me to a service center for repair. Their it sat for about 38 days. I had to really complain and fight for a new shaver. After five phone calls to Braun and four to the repair shop. Braun finally called me and said they were going to send a new replacement. This was a real hassle. For the money I don't think the Pulsonic is worth it. I recommend a Panisonic.

The charge last for about 3 or 4 shaves for me. It takes a little to long for me to shave with it. I'm not sure if I like the smartfoil or not. When I'm finished and I wash my face I seem to really notice where I missed. Then I have to let my face dry and shave over the missed spots. I also have to press a bit to hard in some spots. Does ok on the neck. It doesn't irritate my skin which I like. Over all it is a good quality shaver with an ok shave.

It reads a little low, so I keep that in mind when using it. It is consistent, so I know that my son usually reads 96 degrees so when he is up around 99 or so on this one, I just do a rectal. I would much rather have the ear indicator than do the rectal thermometer frequently! It's saved lots of hassle. It does require the covers, but if I don't mind using the same ones over for the same kid. . .no biggie if you can't get to the store. Someone complained about a battery problem. My son is two and we've never had to replace the batteries. Maybe theirs was defective. I would recommend this product, but with any thermometer, you just have to get used to how it reads and adjust your actions accordingly. My son also thinks its great fun to listen for the beep :)
