I am very pleased to find this product as I could not find refills at the store where I bought the toothbrush. I like the toothbrush but was beginning to think I would have to buy a new toothbrush since they didn't carry the refills. The refills work just as good as the original.

I like the overall idea of the system, and the razor itself works well. However, the base wears quickly. The latch holding down the charging arm breaks in a year or so of use. Given how expensive replacing this is, I'd expect it to last a much longer time. Say, for the average life of the razor itself. Problem is, the latch is made of soft plastic when it should be made of either a hard plastic or a metal. If buying a new razor, go with one that doesn't have a push down arm on the cleaner base.

Per the recommendation of my brother-in-law, who is also my dentist, I made the switch from Sonicare to Braun Oral-B. I love this toothbrush. The Smart Guide is helpful. You may track your brushing time and speed without having to pause to look at the handle. I like that Oral-B's brush heads are compatible with all of the toothbrushes. If they introduce a new type of replacment head, you don't have to have the latest model toothbrush in order to try it out. Amazon offered the best price (through JR Computer World). Shipping was reasonably quick.

I've owned a few Braun shavers before, and have always thought them very good. The Cruzer is no exception - it's a good shaver. It's so-so as a trimmer. It's rated 100~240V, so it will be good in several countries. I'd give it a 5 as a shaver and a 3 as a trimmer, so it gets a 4 overall.

I placed an order thru Amazon.com, the company is a third party who deals w/ Amazon.com. The order was placed for ( 2 ) Braun Cordless Curling Irons,( 1 for a friend. I received 1/2 of my order (1 curling iron) no explanation, the shipping was (I thought) extremely high, but I figured 2 curling irons, the larger box, etc. The Large box only contained 1 Braun Curling Iron. I was told by Amazon that I would have to go thru them to E-mail this third part Company, its been 1 month, and I have neither my second curling iron, nor an answer to my e-mail. I truly feel I've been RIPPED OFF, and am not sure I will order on line again. Sandra L. Lawrence

My dentist sells this Oral B toothbrush to his patients at cost b/c he's such a believer in it, so I decided to go for it. Now, my husband and I both swear we'd never go back to a traditional toothbrush. I was always a fastidious brusher and this does the job so much more effectively and I don't have to worry about brushing too hard or striving for circular movements so that my gums won't recede. Truly, a whole level of "clean." I also love how long it will hold a charge--two weeks! Which means as long as I charge it up before I leave town, I can take just the toothbrush on vacations without needing the base charging unit. Highly recommend this--I'm actually buying one for my mom and dad.
