Not much to say here. You take it out of the little plastic bag it comes in, snap it on your shaver, and you're done. It's either an authentic Braun, or a great copy. Either way, it works.

This shaver is very poor quality. I'm 18 and have very light facial hair (I only have to shave about once a week). This shaver didn't shave anything at all! I tried it with shaving gel, without, water, and dry. I ended up only with a bunch of cuts and no shorter facial hair. I ended up cleaning everything up with my Schick Quattro. Stay away from this product; you get what you pay for.

I had a previous razor of the same make and model. I also have an expensive Norelco razor too but this Braun 7526 is a great product. It shaves close and also fast which my Norelco doesn't do well. I recommend this.

I like the overall idea of the system, and the razor itself works well. However, the base wears quickly. The latch holding down the charging arm breaks in a year or so of use. Given how expensive replacing this is, I'd expect it to last a much longer time. Say, for the average life of the razor itself. Problem is, the latch is made of soft plastic when it should be made of either a hard plastic or a metal. If buying a new razor, go with one that doesn't have a push down arm on the cleaner base.

I suppose the shaver does what it is supposed to do. It's just that I have used a blade since my Norelco died 30 odd years ago and am not used to electric shaving. I was hoping that improvements in design might actually lead to a close, comfortable shave. But alas, all the bells and whistles do is give the same old sort of close, razor burn shave. Braun states in the directions to give it 3 weeks for your beard to adjust to the shaver as if using the thing will cause a physiological change in your facial hair that magically allows the shaver to cut more close and comfortable after 21 days. Don't count on it. The automatic cleaning/charging unit is a nice feature but does not improve the shave. The reconditioned unit works just fine. No problems there.
