This item includes all the pieces you should need to do a nice job. I think it fails making the high mark because it offers a dvd with it but the dvd doesn't work. That leaves no written instructions or working dvd to guide you through the use of the product, making the use a bit scary considering it will be used on a dearly loved pet that doesn't need to be scared by your lack of education.

I have owned two different Conair flat irons (from Wal-Mart)...junk, absolute junk. Using them was like not straightening your hair at all. Upon my hairdresser's advice, I was saving up for a Chi. That's what she uses on my hair, and it always ends up silky, smooth, and straight. I needed something to use while waiting to buy the Chi, and that's when I found this. I reluctantly ordered it because it looks so much like my darn Conair, and it's about the same price, so I was expecting to get the same results. Wrong! My friend has an Andis flat iron (black and gold one) and it worked GREAT!! I loved it, I thought I would try this one for wet and dry hair, it works but not as good as the other Andis flat irons. It takes a couple of passes to get your hair flat and straight. If you have curly hair forget this one. Straight hair that you want flat it will work.

I tried some others before (from friends and relatives) finally decided to buy this one although I hadn't use it before, but I think is the best one so far!! love it!! works so smooth and easy!! even my puppy loves it!!

Purchased for domestic travel. Solid construction, compact, and the high heat speed has a powerful air flow for such a small head size. Drys hair fast. Has low heat speed if you need it. Very satisfied with purchase!

Had to return it, not sure if its defective or its just the way it works but within 5 minutes I kid you not, this thing could scorch your skin it was so hot. So i can't really use it if I have to wait 20 minutes between operation of 5 minutes for it to cool down.

I can't get the attachments to stay on at all. I put the diffuser on my counter, put the hairdryer in it, and pounded the dryer with my fist. It flew off in a matter of minutes. I find the control switches are awkward as well. While gripping the handle I manage to turn it off or change the heat setting while drying my hair. It is powerful and does dry hair. I haven't noticed any "super smooth" dries however.

Install was easy and quick, loved the extra little arm to hang up the excess cord. night light is really bright, I mean REALLY BRIGHT. I think it's "quiet" ( as in the lable)is because of the lower speed of the blower motor. I prefer more air moving. Dryer does a good job all in all.

We have a big lab/shepard mix and he was one hairy beast. Poor thing just laid around all day suffering from the heat. His hair is very thick and these clippers did a great job of shaving him down. Literally a 5 gallon bucket or more of hair came off this dog. We're no pros, so he looks a little jacked up, but he loves it and is running around like a puppy again. Well worth the money, no complaints!
