It is not accurate, just step up 3 times or more, and you will fine they will be different.

I should have read some of these comments before I ordered my Salter 9009 scale on 7/8/07. I paid the inflated price plus extra shipping costs to Hawaii; it malfunctioned soon after received and was returned to Salter on 10/12/07 with a letter explaining the problems, costing another bundle to ship it to New Mexico from Hawaii. A replacement was received some time later, but by 4/25/08 it was again malfunctioning (a leg stuck and I suddenly weighed 100 pounds less--nice!). Since there is no phone number to call for assistance or advice, I tried their internet site and left a request on their "response form" with my email address on 4/27/08. This product is great for people that are starting diets and wanto to take care of their body weight, since is easy to use and keeps a whole month of measures for two different people in it;s own memory. After returning a defective "Weight Watchers" glass platform digital scale we decided to try a different brand...this one. 1-2 months in, and the Taylor has been working great. One nice feature is you don't have to "tap" the scale with your foot before you step on, you can just step right on it and it weighs you. As far as I can tell, its measurements are consistent and accurate.

The scale is solidly constructed, very consistent in its readings, and the 'heavy duty' aspect (400-lb. limit) was the main reason I purchased it. On the down side, the scale wants to be zeroed every time it gets moved (bumped), and the 'lifetime' lithium battery wanted replacing immediately out of the box. It was only an additional $4, though. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the scale.

The stool is exactly what we wanted and it is very good quality. The company that it was ordered from is a different story. First it was shipped to the wrong address and after three weeks of phone calls they resent it and then I got two of them in a box. and then two weeks later I got another one. The company never returned my phone calls and I had to to get loud with them in order to get results.
