Health & Personal Care : Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Diapers

I've noticed a few reviewers mention, that Seventh Generation diapers are biodegradable. They're not. They are as stated free of cancer contributing (causing) chlorine. They take more than 500 years to breakdown in landfill sites. However Seventh Generation diapers are completely disposable, compared with gDiapers (available at diapers.com and other retail outlets) which only the soiled section is NOT ONLY disposable, but it is flushable, compost-able, and it biodegrades within 60 days. gDiapers has a few videos on their website which explain the differences between the two disposable brands of diapers. Overall, both work well, and are very convenient to take outside of your home.

My daughter has super sensitive skin and has struggled with a constant rash since she was born. I tried scent-free diapers and that helped but not enough. Then I tried the Seventh Generation diapers which are scent-free and chlorine-free. That helped a lot, but it wasn't enough. After trying several kinds of wipes I finally decided to give these a try, and lo and behold her rash cleared up within just a couple of days. These are nice and moist. They do smell a little strange as they aren't scented or bleached, but it's not a bad smell, just different. If your baby has a rash, try these, plus the diapers!

I'm typically one to go with the cheap brands when it comes to toilet paper. Marcal or Scott's, whichever is cheaper. I'm not one to be picky about toilet paper. I'll admit the softer brands are really nice, but they are more expensive and the roll runs out really quick. Now I ordered Seventh Generation bathroom tissue not because of softness or price, but because I was interested in trying out an eco-friendly alternative and with Amazon Subscribe & Save I will never run out of the necessities (I really loathe going to the store for a roll of toilet paper). So honestly I was expecting something along the lines of public school toilet paper. However, to my surprise the bathroom tissue was actually soft. Now I'm not saying it's nearly as soft as Charmin Ultra, but it's definitely softer than ... Read More

I love buying "green" products and recycled products. These paper towels are the worst ever. I absolutely hate them. I would send them back if it was worth the shipping. As soon as they are even slightly moist they fall apart and disintegrate. We don't use baby wipes, instead we use paper towels and plain water to clean our toddler and 5 year old boys. These are terrible for that purpose. Even if we use four or five towels at once they fall apart and are useless. Wiping up spills produces the same effect. If we are using these for dry messes these towels are horrible. I won't buy these again.

Seventh Generation Laundry Detergents all work well, but I like this scent the best. Now, if you aren't used to natural detergents, you will notice that the smell is subtle and doesn't overpower the way fake scented detergents do. it's barely noticeable on washed clothes--and I like that.
