Got back problems? Like so many I did so want to find a solution without going to the doctor/chiropractor regularly. I read about this devise on Amazon and decided what the heck, it is only $35. I got some relief, but it is minor, like the kind you get when pressing your back with your hand or a chair. I don't like reviews within days or weeks, so I've tried this devise for 2 months. Doesn't work (for me). Maybe many of the reviewers here found a solution, and if so then it is certainly a small amount to pay for the item. Although I think it is just a bit overpriced--after all, it is a formed hard rubber stick with knobs--its utility is beyond question. Is easy to manipulate. In connection with my masseur's trigger point work, this tool is very useful and very handy to have.

I bought an item similar to this at Walmart (Conair) and was very disappointed in how little power it had. This Wahl massager has much more power for really getting in the knots on my back. Highly recommend!

Not much more to say besides the title - I use it several times a week. Don't turn it on late at night if you live in an apartment.

This is not the original one seen on TV shows and media, but for the price I decided to give it a try. It feels great but I agree the edges are a little rougher than anticipated, so be gentle on your scalp. Unfortunately one of the fingers just snapped off after a few weeks of normal/home use. I cancelled it for a refund and purchased 'The Tingler' in silver and love it. It's built better, specifically the fingers are designed to turn/curve with ease whereas with The Happy Company one, you need to press and twist/mold. It's really hard to explain, but The Tinger is by far the better product. I got mine on eBay for $12, so look out for them. And to the people out there who never tried it, you absolutely must. Much better than previous or similar products that either rubbed your neck raw or poked into your body with too much pressure with hard plastic wheels. This massager is very comfortable and easy to use.

I was very wary when I bought this massager. Read many different reviews for similar items, but went with this one (reviewers rated the 400 model as inferior even though it has 4 rolling mechanisms). I'm glad I bought this! The shiatsu mode really kneads out the knots in my back, and I love that you can target in on one spot. The rolling mode feels too weak for me, but that's a personal opinion, since my sister has said it's quite harsh for her. I just had a baby 3 months ago and have been dying of back pains. Of course, with a newborn there is no time to go out and get massages, so this chair is a wonderful stand-in. I can sit there and get a massage while watching tv or even feeding the baby!
