Does excellent job of reporting heart rate. Includes watch and alarm for maximum and minimum rates. Simplicity plus makes it good for me

I've been using this HRM for 5 months now, and it works just great. My only complaint is that the chronometer function is tied to the HRM function, so you can't use them separately. On the plus side, this does allow the watch to give you a summary of your workouts (total time, avg HR, max HR). I've had no visibility problems or "cross-talk" problems, but I haven't tried using it in a gym. Also, I'm on the small side, but certainly not tiny, and I have to use the chest strap at its tightest setting to keep it on. However, for the price I couldn't be happier with it.

I love all the features of this heart rate monitor and watch, except for one and that would be the way it takes your heart rate. It does not take a reading if your skin is wet. I bought it for my spinning class and I can't get a reading. I have to dry my wrist and put the watch back on to get a reading.

I purchased this item along with a Polar heart rate monitor. The combination enables me to maintain my heart rate within the desired range during cardio exercises. I have also observed that this transmitter works with many of the treadmills, bicycles and eliptical machines at the gym so I can monitor my heart rate on the readout panel of the machine without checking my wrist monitor.

The Mio is easy to up-load with the required data and very reliable in keeping time and reading your pulse. The only problem is while working out, the sweat on your wrist makes it a little difficult to get a quick read on your pulse.

The heart monitor didn't work properly. It would only record heart rate periodically and when it did it was obviously incorrect.

I bought this model well over a year ago. I use it 5-6 times a week during my walks outside and indoors on the treadmill and on my stair-climber. I wanted to make sure I am working in the zone -- not too high and not too low. For me, this has been an absolutely perfect device. I wanted the watch feature (not just a heat monitor) and this model does both. It has other features I don't use as I keep it simple, yet it is still simple to use. The chest strap stays in place and is very comfortable. You can adjust it so that is fits your body. Would purchase again. I paid $70 at a local sports equipment store. You can find them cheaper on amazon and ebay.

This is a great, cheap, and effective HRM watch. I read the reviews before i bought it and it has exactly what i needed and more! All the functions you would want with a watch; Time and date, dual time zones, alarm clock, while flawlessly performing as a HRM as well. The strap fits comfortably on your chest, watch has option for a LOUD alarm if you're falling out of your HR zone, you can put your personal settings in for maximum accuracy (i.e. Height, weight, HR zones). I've had this for a month now and it's working great! I also love how it tells you your recovery rate after your workout and how comfortable the watch is compared to other plastic watches i've had like it. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a training aid for running or exercising!

This is my fourth HR monitor. I've owned a Nike (garbage), two Timex models (one solid and one I returned). I bought this one because it had three lines of information so I would know my total time and my lap time. Some points: - For the first month the watch never gave me an inaccurate HR. Since then I've had two instance when it's been whacky (you know, shows you at 185 when you're at 145). My previous HR monitors were MUCH worse than the Polar on this account. - The three lines is nice, however it does not allow you to swap the lap time with the total time. I would much prefer the lap time to be in the middle or at least bigger (it's hard to read when you're doing a hard run and you're bouncing around). - There is a lap number. Purchased this watch (men's black watch) and the Pink F6 for my wife. The watch I purchased was delivered (on time) in the factory box today. Set time / date etc. All looked okay. Put watch on wrist, then tried to remove from wrist. The pin that holds the clasp to the plastic band came out. Thought the pin may have not been securely in place, so I put pin and band back together, all looked okay. Again placed on wrist and again tried to remove, and again the pin and clasp came apart. In my honest opin this is a really cheap watch band on what I believe to be a fairly good watch. I would give ZERO STARS if that were possible. Wife's watch appears okay, she can remove from her wrist with no problems. The band on the ladies watch is more flexible, maybe that's the difference?
