yea, so this stuff tastes like a root should. nasty. i mix it in with protein shakes, and then essentially gulp it down with a horrible scrunched look on my face. I definitely feel improved energy -which i never have of!- a welcome addition to my sometimes lacking diet.

As far as I know, Ghirardelli offers the cheapest real chocolate on the market. There are certainly more full-flavored chocolatesScharffen Berger Extra Rich Milk Chocolate Bar, 1-Ounce Bars (Pack of 12)in America and a few Europeans, but they are all much more expensive. I love this product. I add it to protein/whey/yogurt shakes, and to give a more chocolatey kick to hot chocolate. I take only half of the cheap hot chocolate mix and add a spoonful of this chocolate. The resulting hot chocolate is much richer and not nearly so sweet. I also use it with Acai powder (Sambazon or Amazon Thunder) and add one or two drops of stevia. Acai/Chocolate blend is really the best for mental energy, not just physical energy; It helps me focus for studying, writing, or problem-solving. This powder is a bit coarse, so it works better in cold drinks if shaken or blended, and in hot drinks you need to stir a few more times than usual. This a good price in a two-pack.

These cocoa nibs come raw and are just delicious and fantastic all by themselves as a snack. With the benefits of the anti-oxidant properties of cocoa and this product in an unprocessed state (with the highest anti-oxidant properties) this stuff is a great discovery. What makes these nibs even fantasticker (I know this is not a real word) is that if you put them in the microwave for about 3 minutes, they get even BETTER while filling the house with an incredible aroma of chocolate. Try it on a sample and see for yourself. Great price too!

I wish I'd known the ingredient list for Hershey's Cinnamon Chips when I bought these (the ingredient list was not part of the product description as the time of this review). There's no real cinnamon in them. I had been using King Arthur's mini cinnamon chips previously (ingredients: sugar, palm oil, cinnamon, nonfat dry milk, soy lecithin) and was happy with them, but I was curious about Hershey's chips. I really like these sugar-free chocolate chips, although, they are more like chocolate chunks. I had to chop them up a bit when I used them in cookies, but they taste good, not as sweet as regular chips and they melt really good.

I am a hot chocolate connoisseur and have tried many different cocoa powders and drink mixes. This has to be one of the best I have ever tried. The second you open the bag, the most intense chocolate scent wafts up to you nose. Try that with regular cocoa. I take the powder, add a few of my own spices and then I enjoy it for breakfast all winter. I haven't ever made cookies or anything else with it, but I imagine it would be just as delicious in those recipes as well.

I keep wishing I could love this cocoa, but I'm overwhelmed by it's chalky taste. I know others here feel very strongly for this cocoa and will disagree with me, but, following a hot cocoa recipe almost to the "T," I have consistently made the worst cups of hot chocolate of my life! I'm about to throw this cocoa out. My only hope is that it tastes better in baking, and perhaps my sister, the baker in the family can use it.

I bought SF Signature Fondue Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, 28-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 2) to use with a fondue fountain. This was by far the best tasting fondue chocolate I've ever had. It was really easy to use; no mixing with oil like the recipe that came with my fountain. It melted quickly in the microwave and then we poured it into the fountain. Now we want a couple more fountains so we can use this company's white and dark chocolates!

What a fantastic product! Out of all the raw chocolate nibs and beans I've tried, the Sunfood brand is definitely the best ever. It's true, they are somewhat bitter. I've learned to really love the flavor just straight from the bag, or dipping a banana into almond butter, then into the nibs (Yum!), but I know that some people will find the raw flavor initially disconcerting. My recommendation is to mix cacao nibs and goji berries together 50/50. The gojis add some wonderful sweetness, and the medicinal value of these two foods together is extraordinaty!
