I am a type 2 Diabetic working hard to keep my blood sugar always under control. Unfortunately, I have a high "bounce" on any carbs I eat early in the morning. This product is one of the few that I can eat (high protein - very low carb) that helps me to maintain my morning control. (I eat a higher carb snack later in the morning when I don't have to worry as much).

I tried the "Zoic Nutrition Drink" as a replacement to Slim-Fast Low-Carb Ready To Drink, Creamy Chocolate, 11-Ounce Cans in 4-Count Boxes (Pack of 6) for my after workout breakfast. The Slim-Fast has 20g of Protein and Zoic has 21g, but the Zoic is roughly 30 cents cheaper a can (significant over a couple months). Here are my general observations: * This is not a "Shake" (as another reviewer pointed out), but more like a "YooHoo" * Provides a lot of vitamins (mostly the same or better than Slim-Fast) * Taste is a lot like a weak "YooHoo" with a very slight after-taste * Sweetened with "Splenda", which I like a lot * Only 2 net carbs The Zoic is not as filling as a Slim-Fast, but is a good Protein drink at a less expensive ... The only thing good I can say about this product is that it tastes good. That is true of the entire Slimfast line of products. They all taste good. But due to the high sugar content they are not weight loss products as the name of the product and company advertising suggests. Due to the low cost of sugar and the fact that most people prefer the taste of sugar, this company loads up all their products with sugar. Just read the label- all Slimfast products have sugar at or near the top of the list of ingredients. The FDA requires that ingredients lists be listed by the order of the abundance of the ingredient in the product. I enjoy Chocolate Slim Fast. I love chocolate! It's handy for a quick breakfast and satisifies my craving for sweets at the same time. I use it sometimes just for a desert too. Excellent flavor! I love this drink!

This stuff does give you an energy boost and I believe (with proper diet and exercise) it will speed your weight loss. But, I suggest you get capsules, because this stuff is disgusting otherwise.

I have a busy off site work schedule, so this product works great for me when I cannot break for lunch. Because of my dairy allergy it was great to find a soy meal replacement ready drink! The chocolate is rich and creamy, and the vanilla is adequate except for the overriding artificial sweetener after taste. The only drawback would be the artificial sweetener (which I am not a fan of) and the lack of enough fiber to be a COMPLETE meal replacement.

Bawls is not the most effective energy drink, but it is certainly one of the better tasting ones as it does not leave any lingering aftertastes like most energy drinks. For caffeine addicts Bawls does nothing, but for the average person it will give you the boost you need without the harsh taste that is synonymous with energy drinks.

I ordered these because the price was good. I think I paid $55 for 48 cans. I like this particular Slim Fast product, because it has very few carbs and no sugar. It taste pretty good and I like it better than Atkin's.

I just love that Slim-fast is available in Gluten-free! It is delicious and very convienent when I am on the go.
