Amazon offered a great special price. I've been drinking PERO since the 1970s. It's a FABULOUS tasting coffee substitute...VERY RICH and DELICIOUS. I don't even think of it as a "coffee substitute." It's just a great tasting hot beverage without caffeine---but so delicious tasting that it stands on it's own. I drink it with cream and sugar-- and sometimes add other yummy extras--like cinammon sugar, or syrups, like caramel, for a drink which is so rich it's like a dessert.

This is the best hot drink coffee substitute that I have ever tried. Far better than Postum, Pero or Eco. I first found it at a health food store and I paid so much more for it. I am glad to find it at a much more reasonable price.....thanks!

It only sort of tastes like coffee, but that is the good thing. It doesn't have the bitterness of coffee, but still has a similar enough taste to easily be a great substitute. I enjoy a cup during the day, and one cup in the evening after the kids are in bed. I enjoy a robust amount, with a shot of half and half and a tablespoon of honey, and it is such a smooth, warm and relaxing treat that is actually good for you, and good for my diabetes. It was a little different the first time or two (being more used to the coffee flavor, but now, I highly prefer this flavor to coffee. Now when I have coffee, I CAN TELL for sure (thanks to the caffeine), so I thoroughly enjoy this substitute.

Caf-Lib dissolves instantly and completely in boiling water. I use more than recommended per cup, at a higher concentration it has a nice "edge" that I have missed in other coffee substitutes.Particularly good for people who drink their "coffee" unsweetened. I love Teeccino Java: first thing in the morning I want to smell my hot beverage brewing! For the rest of the day I usually reach for Caf-Lif.

I am a huge fan of Teeccino Herbal Coffees, but I was not crazy about this one. It also left a slight after taste. I mix it with another flavor to make it taste better.

If you no longer drink coffee but want a similar flavor, this is the product for you! And it lacks the bitterness of instant coffee. Smooth, tasteful - I use this just as I use to use coffee - hot, iced, in recipes, etc. I can't recommend it enough. Leaps and bounds better than Postum, Pero, etc.

I started drinking Cafix when I was avoiding caffeine for health reasons, but was missing coffee. This doesn't taste like good coffee, but it does look like it and sortof reminds me of it. I got to really like it. I had forgotten that Cafix comes in two forms, powder and crystal. I meant to order the crystals, but forgot and ordered the powder. It turns out I can't tell the difference.
