I ordered these chocolate covered coffee beans for gifts ( I ordered 6 packages)...they came completely melted/ the box was hot and contained only one cold pack...it was all ruined. I have contacted the company for a replacement or refund..total waste

I had first purchased from Leonidas as a last minute Valentine's Day present for my boyfriend. They were a bit on the pricey side, but I figured I would give them a chance because of the rave reviews. My boyfriend received them on Valentine's Day and he called me right away to tell me how great they were. His coworkers were even asking if they could have some. Because he loved them so much, I decided to get his family 2 lbs of a dark chocolate assortment and the regular assortment as a thank you gift. They were absolutely thrilled. I got to see the packages in person when I was visiting one weekend and the package was smaller than I originally thought. Nonetheless, the chocolates were still a big hit with everyone who tried them.

This is one of the most amazing chocolate cake I have tasted. Both me and my wife loved it. The packaging was awesome. It came within a large thermocoal box and ice pack to keep it frozen. The packaging itself is a value for money. It comes with a little instruction card saying how to heat it based on whether it is frozen or thawed, and that was very helpful. Even though the description says it will ship within few weeks, it actually shipped very next day ! However, I guess that could vary based on availability. We are very very satisfied with this product. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Although you can buy these chocolates for next to nothing in Belgium, they are a true treat to have here in the States. The quality is far superior to any American brand --- particularly Godiva. Given the high cost though, I was a little annoyed that the top layer arrived smooshed. Arrival issues notwithstanding, you can't go wrong with these chocolates.

I first fell in love with the Leonidas chocolates while in Belgium and now I finally found them online. If I was in New York, you would probably find me at the Manon Café in the winter sipping hot chocolates. In the summer, I'd be at the Leonidas' store buying gourmet chocolates. After savoring chocolates in Europe, Africa and America - these are the best chocolates I have ever tasted. The crunchy chocolate squares were a real surprise and I love how delicate the crunch is when encased in a burst of delicious chocolate. You may also enjoy the Mint chocolates.
