I bought this as a Christmas present. You can't track the shipping through Amazon because it's sent from somewhere else. Amazon sent me an email address that I could use to contact the company about the shipment. Despite two emails to Alaska Smokehouse (one over a month ago), I still have no idea if my friends received the salmon. (Yes, I could ask my friends, but it seems tacky.) Free shipping is a great offer...but not if you never actually find out if it happened!

This is not the best canned tuna I've had--that is sold by Ortiz and is more expensive. I save that for special dishes. This is what I use for tuna salad. It is good, comparable to Cento tuna, and far superior to anything I can buy in my small-town Ohio grocery stores. The 6-oz. can is a nice size and the pack of 24 cans is a superb value.

Sent these rolls for a good friend's 79th bday present and just heard today that they were the best ever eaten - and these folks, as well as us, spend a bunch of time in Maine. They're in Florida now and are salivating for their Maine adventures come June. Hmmm - think I'm going to order them for my family right now!

I had purchased 48 3 oz. cans of tuna, upon opening some of the tuna I had to throw out 20 cans, because the product was spoiled (dark meat and fowl smell). I purchased this product in the past with no problems.

I discovered this amazing smoked salmon when I recently purchased the Copper River Reserve 7 oz. jars. I gave it to my father for his birthday and ended up eating almost all of it myself! So, I bought a few 20 oz. fillets for myself so I'd be prepared for the holiday season . . . but I've eatin them already!!! I've had other brands of smoked salmon which claim to be from the Copper River, but this is by far the best I've ever had. This Christmas, I plan on giving this salmon to everyone in my family! I am not some kind of caviar snob but I have had the very expensive down to lumpfish from the local grocery store. I was so surprised at the extremely fresh taste and mild flavor. It even had the "pop" of the expensive brands. What was so wonderful with this type is I could just get a little spoonful whenever I wanted instead of waiting for a special occasion.

This canned tuna is wonderful. I haven't bought canned tuna packed in oil of any kind in years. I was recently in Molinari's Deli in S.F. and the owner tossed me a can of this stuff and said I'd like it. He was wrong, I love it. It's rich and smooth and not "tinny" at all. If drained well, there is very little olive oil on the tuna, and what there is, is high quality. It's splendid on Salad Nicoise or just plain with a little lemon juice, salt, and fresh ground pepper. I've given it as gifts, and it has been recieved very well.

I just heard from my Mom and Dad and my Mom told me that the Lobsters arrived at 11:00 a.m. and they were done eating at 12:15 p.m. She said she had never seen my father so happy to receive a gift. They told me the Lobsters were wonderful, packaged well and arrived safely and on time at their door step. Apparently my father asked my mother "why don't we spoil ourselves more often?" I guess it's the children's time to spoil the parents! So, if you want to give someone (including yourself) a very special and fun gift, don't hesitate! Order these lobsters!
