I bought this candy as an early Valentine's/Birthday present for my husband. I realized when it arrived that 2lbs? Yeah, that's a LOT of marzipan. Fortunately for us, it is DELICIOUS! We opened the box up right away and dove right in. The candy was finely ground, without a grainy texture we've found in some other candy. It was nicely sweet and intensely almond flavored. Even my picky two-year-old tried a piece and asked for a second. To prolong our enjoyment of the candy, we froze two of the trays and are quickly working our way through the third.

If you are the average on-line shopper at Amazon, you'll notice that each product page shows the cost of the item and the shipping & handling cost in the upper right corner of the screen. I was delighted to find SF fluff and it came highly recommended. BUT, rather than being charged the $13.00 s/h that was on the Amazon page, I was charged $59!!! When I contacted Amazon, I was given a "politician's answer" and was told to contact the vendor. After going to the Bountiful Harvest website, and reading the fine print, apparently if your state is outside of the few approved FedEx 1-day zones, you are automatically charged the EXPEDITED s/h fee, which is over 4x the advertised shipping amount. I bought this as a treat for my diabetic husband, but I doubt he will try it because sugar is listed as the second ingredient on the front label, after milk chocolate, and right under where it says Low Carb English Toffee. Something is wrong somewhere because it says it has 29 carbs in 3 pieces and 0 sugar carbs on the nutritional label. It makes me wonder because 29 carbs is the amount in over 7 teaspoons of sugar. This was titled LOW CARB & SUGARFREE ALMOND ENGLISH TOFFEE on the Amazon listing.

This is a hazelnut-almond brittle covered with a thin layer of dark chocolate. Someone brought me a couple of these candies from Italy and I immediately went to the web to see how to get more. The single portion size is just perfect, the individual wrapping is very pretty; even the box is lovely. If you like your sweets very sugary this is not for you. In spite of the cherub on the box, it's definitely for adult tastes.
