I think I received a bad batch of Manon Cafe and Manon Blanc--they were a bit squished and tasted maybe past their prime. Heat wasn't a factor in the shipping process--I ordered these in January in Seattle. Or, maybe these chocolates have a different consistency than the other assortments. In the future, I think I'll stick with their Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate assortments.

After searching high and low I finally found someone that I could order The most delicious Belgain Chocolates... Our family lived in Germany over 20 years ago and my mother use to come home with the Manon Cafe chocolates. Even as a teenager I thought they were the best treat to ever hit earth! These are so good. I ordered some last fall, they came with in the week packaged in a foam box to keep them cool, they were all perfect, and am glad to see they actually are on sale...I can justify getting some for my self and for my sisters b-day that is this month. We were completely satisfied with this find! And purchase. Hope you enjoy them too.

I agree with the first reviewer, almost completely. While I don't loathe Godiva as they seem to, it seems to me many luxury brands, including Godiva, are seen as such due more to clever marketing than the actual quality of the product. A lot of the unspoken opinion seems to be, if it's exspensive, it must be good. Granted, Neuhaus chocolates are exspensive to, like Godiva, but they surpass them in taste and creativity by a country mile. Unlike Godiva, there's not one in practically every mall in America. Which raises a question: if Godiva is such a luxury item, why are they in so many mid-market malls? Order these, you won't be sorry.

I picked up a bar of this at JFK on the way home from a Christmas trip, just looking for a little treat. Holy cow, best airport food ever. I've been parceling it out over the last week or so, and within a minute of finishing it hopped online to see whether I could get hold of some more. Not a standard candy car -- chocolatey, but with enough crunchy nuts and lemon and chewy ginger that the texture is unusual and really addictive. SO happy that Amazon has it!

I just started to eat these chocolate covered coffee beans. So I thought to myself, "Hey I like White Chocolate, let's see if there is any on Amazon that I could try." So I took the chance ordered them and just love them. I live and work overseas and had a bag sent to me at an APO address. The order arrived quickly with no damage. Back to these beans....... If you have been trying the Dark and Milk Chocolate covered ones like I have been, then this will be a great change to a great snack. These taste great and give me and added caffeine boost. Hope this helps your decision... NOW BUY A BAG OR TWO.... I know I will! :)

I have to admit there may be a bias here because the recipient of these confection's first initial is "N," but these chocolates ARE delicious. Expensive, though...including the high price for shipping (I guess chocolate does actually melt). The belgians know how to make a great nut paste and the packaging is high class (a red and brown color, not the one you see here on Amazon). These chocolates make for an amazing presentation for that someone with an elegantly refined sweet tooth. What I really wish is that Frucon had a better description of the names of which chocolates come in a box. I had a hard time finding a box with the "satan" and the "mephisto" pieces.
