For 4 years btwn 2000-2004 I lived half time in Belgium with native Belgians and half time in the US. SO I got to learn Belgian culture form the inside, not as a tourist. Throughout the north part (the Dutch part) of Belgium, one finds family owned chocolate shops everywhere. There are also the chains. I ordered these chocolate covered coffee beans for gifts ( I ordered 6 packages)...they came completely melted/ the box was hot and contained only one cold pack...it was all ruined. I have contacted the company for a replacement or refund..total waste

I haven't seen this quality since the 50's. I buy them for my Mom, she is not supposed to eat this type of goodie, but at age 85...what the heck! She loves them, so I get her a box twice a year, and always order another box, so I can sample them before I give them, if you catch my drift! Great quality control, but they should consider putting more than 12 in a package.

After reading the reviews, I went right to my local store and bought a bar, for the same price. Very good! Really--it's darn good chocolate. Now, am I missing something, or are we expected to spend $12 on shipping for it? If you're willing to, please contact me right away, since I have a lot of stuff I'd like to sell you.

I had first purchased from Leonidas as a last minute Valentine's Day present for my boyfriend. They were a bit on the pricey side, but I figured I would give them a chance because of the rave reviews. My boyfriend received them on Valentine's Day and he called me right away to tell me how great they were. His coworkers were even asking if they could have some. Because he loved them so much, I decided to get his family 2 lbs of a dark chocolate assortment and the regular assortment as a thank you gift. They were absolutely thrilled. I got to see the packages in person when I was visiting one weekend and the package was smaller than I originally thought. Nonetheless, the chocolates were still a big hit with everyone who tried them.

...in ordering from a company with no seller feedback on any of their products, etc, but a friend ordered this off of my wishlist. They took care in the packaging,which was double wrapped on the inside. The chocolate itself was nestled in a shallow black tray with about a dozen big lumps of marshmallow. The only thing I had expected was for the chocolate to be softer. From the picture it seems almost fudge-like, but when it arrived, it was hard to cut into and chew. I think this product would be spectacular if they changed this to actual fudge, though. All-in-all, the dark chocolate taste was phenomenal mixed with the almonds, not overpowering like others I've had before. The marshmallows were very soft and fluffy, and were fun to bite into.
