I bought this to help with the onslaught of holiday package shipping. It's sturdy and does a great job for weighing absolutely everything. With this scale I was able to use the self-mailing websites of UPS and the USPS (Click N' Ship) and skip the long lines to mail things. For that alone this thing paid for itself. I also like that it can run on batteries! It doesn't give you the price of postage, but you can figure that out with the weights via those websites. They're always changing their prices anyway. A great time saver, I will definitely continue to use this after the holidays for mailing things.

I have many of the frustrations that some of the other reviewers have mentioned. I have been a fan of Sony products for many years, but this particular product is a frustration to me. I also bought it to go with the Dragon Systems speech recognition software that it came bundle with. The joy stick is a nightmare, for me at least. I have trouble getting it to do what I want it to do. The right, left, up down is fairly easy, but in trying to push the button down the machine usually responds with an "up" execution. I find it overly sensitive. The push to execute feature of the joy stick, when I get it right, usually takes two or three pushes to actually perform the intended operation. I am a teacher and this labeling systems is very important to the way I organize my class material. The label system was a gift that was very much appreciated and it will get a lot of use. The only problem that I have with it is the cost of the labels. They are very expensive and before making this purchase check the cost of them at any office supply store. Other than that the PT-2110 is working perfectly.

I purchased this recorder for my husband. He is a trumpet player and loves to use it when he practices. Not only is it compact, but it's recording quality is superior. It came with an additional piece that slides right down into a microphone stand... so he takes it on gigs. Not too long after he got it, we found that many of his musician buddies had it too. They all use them to listen to their gigs and rehearsals and rave about it. I think it is a must have for any musician or singer! Takes any size SD card and can record in mp3 format.

Hello;I bought this scale thinking it was Wireless!! Wireless to me say's no wires? Why is it listed as Wireless,when there is a wire to extend the face panel for large packages? Why is it listed as wireless?Well this is the only reason I give it a 3 because of the wire,5 if it was really Wireless.No wire to extend the face panel.Otherwise the scale itself is fine.

I like this recorder a lot and use it constantly. I think it could be improved if it were just a bit bigger in size so that the buttons could be spaced further apart, but you do get used to it as it is and it is fine. The soft travel case is not so good. After a few weeks of use it falls off and becomes inconvenient. Also, there is a place for a hand strap on the recorder, but it does not come with one. Interfacing with Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred software is another story. The recorder is OK, interfacing with the software is a bit challenging.

I purchased this unit. I made about 15 labels with it and then it ceased to work. Contacted the manufacturer regarding the warranty and they would not give me a replacement unit. This unit is awful. I spent a pile of money on it and label media kits that are nothing other than a door stop now. I'm switching to Dymo.
