I bought this scope for use on a 100 yd rifle range to spot bullet holes from .22 - 50 caliber. It's clarity and brightness at 100 yds. is good. Considering it's price , you could say very good. A fellow shooter said it compared with his much more expensive Leupold. We didn't do a side by side comparison, so I don't know about that. It is simple enough to set up and focus. Included tripod is light weight and nothing to brag about but I expected that. It's usable on the bench. The soft case is nice with a divider to separate the scope from the tripod. I've only used it about 4 times, so I can't say anything about it's durability. For my intended purpose it works well and I would recommend it for similar usage.

Said you could range within 20 yards. This is not true. Disappointed with product and see no use item so I am throwing it away. Waste of money!!!

I got this telescope to replace my old 60mm refractor which had fungal growth at the objective lens. Unlike the other customers, I bought this telescope at a local store with a 2-year warranty. Thus, the telescope was unbroken and packaged properly. The instruction manual was detailed and the telescope came with a software known as theSky, which is a useful program that allows you to locate celestial bodies at the place and time which you are at.

The telescope itself is a sturdy unit, and was properly collimated. With its 127mm aperture, I could easily view planets, stars, and also the moon with great ease. The telescope mount is german equatorial, which was useful as it allows you to track down the star you want to find in the night sky by countering the earth's rotation. As this ... Read More

A good scope but clarity at higher power is not as good as I expected. Still, for the money this scope serves me well. Also found it great for watching wildlife from our rear deck.

My son loves this product, he's barely taken it off since we got it a month ago! We did notice that it gives slight tunnel vision, and he does regularly bump into walls, but as he's only 2 1/2 that is to be expected!
These are great, I think everyone should have a pair, and then no one needs to be afraid of the dark! And we save on energy because we don't need lights (as often) mind you, you go through a lot of batteries!!!

The binoculars are great but the lens caps are not. There were no lens caps for the objective lenses and the connected eyepiece caps broke apart upon first use and do not stay on. I just keep the binoculars in their case.

I am really glad that I bought this eyepiece. The bottom is threaded to handle 1.25 filters. (There was another that takes .965") The lens is large with smooth movements. I have a manual focus and it is often difficult to fine tune. I am able to use the zoom on this lens to some extent to focus. The lens covers and plastic case are nice to have.

I am no professional so I am not using a $10,000 telescope. I don't need a $500 lens. I have the full Mead 4000 eyepiece set and find myself only using a 40mm or 32 mm, the zoom lens, and a 2X balrow. Get a Barlow with this eyepiece if you don't have one. The barlow makes the zoom more like 8 lenses than 4, and is nice to take the telescope beyond its limits then back quickly.

If anyone was interested this lens does have a green ... Read More

These are great binocs. Other than the eyepiece covers not staying in place, you will find this product fits the bill for its very good price.

I am interested in stargazing recently,so I need a pair of bino.
my budget is $100.
before I purchased Nikon 7*50 binocular,I searched the internet for various brands and models, it seems this one is the best considering its
ratio of performance over price.I wear a eyeglass usually, and the eye cup of this model is foldable, because it has long eye relief(17mm? I can not remember exactly).the wide field of view and great focusing power makes it very suitable for watching the night sky. the images are sharp compared with dark background ,you can see much more stars than your naked eye!I highly recommend this model to those entry level Ameteur Astromomers!

120.Orion RedBeam SP Self-Powered LED Flashlight from: ORION
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

>>More Details
Electronics : Orion RedBeam SP Self-Powered LED Flashlight

I bought this because I've dissatisfied with Orion's dual beam light for a LONG time. That unit's red light is just too dim, but the Orion RedBeam SP Self-Powered LED Flashlight is just perfect. I used it on a stargazing session July 5th and it was great. I could easily read my maps and charts, and was able to use it to guide me around in the dark while packing up.
