This is a repeated purchase for me. The phone system is great and very user friendly. I am glad that I can buy up to 11 of these for my current phone system! I have young grandsons, who have taken the handsets and immersed one in water and threw the other away! I like the Uniden system.I have used this phone as a baby monitor and a home intercom. It has great memory, too Buying the extra handsets are well worth the fair price.

Horrible walkie talkies..Can get a range of 1/4 very clear, after that nothing. Avoid unless buying for your kids or for outside play. They are small and light, too bad they do not work very well (12 range range is complteley absurd, unless maybe you are on top of a mountain range calling down base camp. I doubt they even work then!)

I have the base unit on a shelf of my entertainment stand. My cable modem and my wireless router are behind the stand. Needless to say, there are many(too many) components within a foot of each other. There is no interference to my Wifi network and the phone sounds fine throughout the house. I can't comment on the answering machine, I don't use it.

After I received the Uniden handset and charging cradle, I charged the handset for the number of hours stated in the manual. After it was fully charged, I set the handset on the main base unit to sink with my master system. This worked fine, but after a couple of days the handset began loosing its charge. When I placed it on the charging cradle, it would not charge and finally cut off completely. All lights went out on the handset. Either the charging cradle went out or the battery died. I'm not sure exactly which one was the culprit, but I returned the product and will not buy another.

I bought this for my mother-in-law, with an emphasis on IN-LAW. The problem with all the other phones, is that she could not travel around her cave, at the speed aided by a walker, without losing the signal. Lower frequency, longer range. ET 101. That's it. No more calls sayiing "Well it's nice but I can't hear when I'm"........fill in the blank. Aside from the obvious,"Don't go there when your on the phone!" I got her the 900mhz Uniden and the calls stopped. If you or anyone that you know is so afflicted, buy this phone, or ear plugs. "God is in his Heaven and all is right with the world". This phone fit the bill.

I bought these for camping at a relatively open flat campground we always go to. The two main features that I wanted was rechargeability and channel subcodes. These units have that in a small, attractive looking device for an inexpesive price. Did not experience any interference or short battery life (you can also use your own AAA batteries if you want). I also like the call button feature that "rings" the other person when you want to get ahold of them (so you're not repeating yourself). Didn't use some of the other fetures like VOX so I don't know how well it does for that. The speaker volume was more than adequate and could hear people clearly. I don't know if I would depend on them for long range capability but they were certainly adequate for what I bought them for.

Good-sized buttons, simple controls on the base. Corded/cordless gives you the best of both worlds.

I really love this phone. It's slim and easy to use. I love the ease of the features. I have 4 of them hooked up and my kids love having them in their rooms. My one complaint is that the ringer is very low and hard to hear in another part of the house. Otherwise thumbs up!

I bought the Uniden TRU9466 2-line to replace my older Panasonic KX-TG6500 2-line. The reason was because my Panasonic would only allow up to three extra handsets plus the base station (4 total) which isn't enough. The Uniden I bought allows up to 9 handsets plus base station (10 total). The Uniden also has a more intuitive phone book feature (you can access a person's name faster), and it has a one-button speed dial for up to 10 people which the Panasonic doesn't have. It also allows you to page all other stations simultaneously -- the Panasonic forces you to page one at a time. However, the Panasonic had exceptional range. My base station sits in between my laptop and my desktop computers, with a 3rd computer nearby (and pretty soon a fourth), and an 802.11n wireless network hub ... Read More
