This thing worked just fine between 2 pcs but wouldn't work with a PowerMac Dual G4 with USB. When switching back to the mac it would lock OS 10.4 completely, forcing a reboot. I did indeed return it and amazon credited my money back quickly. Thanks Amazon! I would seriously consider going elsewhere if you want to be assured of Mac compatibility.

This is a great little router for the money. It has a very easy to use interface and is very quick to setup.

We have tested this converter under Windows XP, Vista on wintel notebook and Mac OS Leopard on MacBook. It worked very well. Overall, very stable product.

No problems so far with this neat little modem. I still fascinates me that my first phone modem was about the size and weight of a brick, and was 2.6K. Even though the modem is "controlled" by Windows, the performance has not suffered. I use it with my Acer Aspire One notebook running Windows XP with Netzero as an ISP. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is the construction of the modem. It is plastic and light, and I think it would benefit from a rubberized coating. I also understand, however, that the construction is a necessary for the modem's cost effectiveness.

Bought with high expectations due to its great spec. First one didn't work, sent back. Second also didn't work, and returned. Don't waste your time or money.

I bought this KVM to switch between my Windows XP machine and a Linux machine running Gentoo Linux. I'm using the Microsoft 4000 wireless USB keyboard/mouse combo. Everything worked as expected with the Windows machine, but with the linux machine the keyboard/mouse were disconnecting every 5-6 seconds. Whenever this happened the keyboard/mouse were unreponsive for about a second. I got in touch with Trendnet tech support to see if this was a known issue. To their credit, they were very quick to respond to a couple of my emails. However, their recommended solution left a lot to be desired. I recently purchased a laptop to replace an old desktop and I still wanted to be able to use my monitor, mouse and keyboard at my desk. My mouse was already USB connected but my keyboard wasn't. I searched around and found a few different USB to PS/2 converters, but as I read some of the reviews I was hesitant on which one to get. I decided on this one and it has worked perfectly. Every key on my keyboard works as expected. I would recommend this to anyone.

It created a software error when I installed it - "Microsoft Kill Process Utility" created a fault. I uninstalled the supplied software and downloaded the software from the chip manufacturer - Realtek RTL8185L. Unzip the file to a temporary folder, install the card. Tell windows that you want to install from a specific location and browse to the folder. It will install the drivers, and then you can use the standard windows wireless manager to take care of connecting to your network. Driver can be found at Realtek's site. I also went into device manager and turned off the Let Windows Turn Off this Device to Save Power function. Seems to work better now, but still drops off unexpectedly...
