The belt loop snaps. It also unsnaps and that is why I no longer have a camera case. Fortunately my camera was not in it. I need something that can not come loose.

The Sony 4 GB Memory Stick PRO DUO is quite the compliment to the Sony Cybershot Camera I purchased. The capacity alone is worth the investment! The Camera & the Stick mesh so well to save & retrieve shots/videos that the user doesn't have to wait lengthy periods (say, 5-10secs!) to shoot/access shots/videos... This, together with the fact that the Stick allows for a quick transferral of shots/videos to & from your PC, makes for a satisfactory investment. Hope this proves insightful! Enjoy...

We have used the Sony Blue Ray CD Player (BDP - S550 to our great satisfaction. Blue Ray discs are as near to reality as you would need to get for the feeling that you are there, seeing nature et all from the vantage points professionals in the film industry can only achieve. The scenes are supurbly enhanced with what must be super cameras. Our ordinary CD discs are brought up to the level of clarity & reality that are only exceedet by the blue ray discs.

As a Sony Mini-DV owner, I chose to purchase the Sony branded tapes. While I am not typically a brand-sensitive person, I have read some reviews that state that you should stick with the same brands when it comes to magentic media such as tape. In addition, you probably should not switch from one brand to another after significant use because of the lubricants that the differnet manufacturers use. That said, I am interested in trying Sony's HD Mini-DV tapes, even though my camer is not an HD model. Since both tapes are Sony, I thjink the switch would be ok. Overall these tapes are pretty much standard qulaity tapes, like another reviwer mentioned. They are reliable. If you are looking to buy a Sony Mini-DV, these are the tapes for you.

I bought these about a year ago and have used them about 10-15 times. I just bought the MAHA 9000 charger which allows for a complete break-in cycle which actually measures the capacity of each cell. I've cyled all of them a few times and found that the MAHA rates them between 1950 and 2150. I've got 12 of them and none rated higher than the 2150. They work well and seem to supply power well, but if they are sold as 2500mah they should provide that much. If you don't mind the lower capacity they seem fine, but you'll have to recharge them more often.

Good video, but sound really ugly. Speakers are useless - 1950 telephone was producing better sound. There is no way to adjust sound characteristics (bass/treble), or I was not able find the way of doing this after month of experimenting. Average $20 CD player has at least "bass boost", not sating about more sophisticated tuning (especially Sony products). Fortunately, I have full drawer of headphones, and I was able to select one that provides good compromise between low and end.
