After much consideration I finally broke down and bought into satellite ratio. I ended up purchasing the Sportster 5 because you can get the best of XM added to your Sirius package. So far the radio is great! I can't believe how much I like. It looks really nice and is very easy to use. Reception is very good. I ended up having it professionally installed for a cleaner look and added the FM direct connection.

Now I can walk around and listen to Sirius and if i'm on the train with no service, I can listen to my downloaded mp3's. It's a great product. I've had a few problems with it freezing up.

The product arrived on time and brand new. The price was very good and it has operated very well as expected. I chose this specific model to match the docking in a few other cars so I was limited in what I wanted but I am very happy with it and it's performance.

This antenna is a good replacement for my factory supplied antennta that got severed, although I don't think it's quite as strong as the original. I think a better investment would be on a higher quality antenna, but of course that would include a higher price tag, understandably so. However, I am very happy with this vendor. Quick delivery, fair price, product just as described. Would use this vendor again.

I bought this to replace my existing Xact boombox account with my Sportster account. I wanted to save a few pennies each month and believe Xact products and support are junk. Pluses: It looks great, classy. I could use my iPod on it. All definite pluses. Minus are more: The sound is so-so. The boombox had great base and resonated nicely. This, which uses an electrostatic technology, is very crisp, but lacks base. I'm still tinkering with the sound quality adjustments, but it is a noticeable variance. Also, the remote transmission/reception is poor. I must stand three feet or less from it to get an accurate power-off or else the unit cycles through the different modes: iPod, line in, etc. The remote uses the same button for Power and Mode. I bought this for my husband for father's day and he like it. He likes having it hooked up listening to it while watching the race on tv. It wasn't that hard for him to install inside the house but the only down side is we have to remmeber to take the radio back to the truck when we go somewhere so we can have it to listen to whlie driving. Otherwise we like it alot.

The Sirius Stiletto is an amazing product. I listen to Howard Stern and cannot always listen to the whole show. I am able to record it when I wake up, listen on my way to work and record the rest of the program when I arrive to work. always have new Stern to listen to even when he is on vacation. The love button instantly stores any song or show on Sirius for listening again and again. Can listen anywhere either live or from recordings. I flew last week and had new episodes to listen to for the whole flight. A great MP3 player as well.

It's rare these days to be able to give five stars to an electronic component. I went from 2-3 bars to 10 bars with this product. The only thing I would mention is that at least a 3/8" hole is needed to get the cable outside. You will either have to drill a hole or leave your window open as this cable is almost as thick as a regular coaxal cable (like a TV cable). Also, you need to use oversized (head) screws because the mounting holes are designed to use U-bolts. Mounting screws and U-bolts for pole mounting are provided. The boom the antenna is mounted on is adjustable by a few turns of a phillips head screw. I did not measure it, but the boom appears to be about 10"to 12". Installed the device in less than 15 mins. No more reception problems. No need to look for an empty station. All my music is as clear as an aux input. Highly recommend if you live in an area where every station has local dj monkeys on it and you can't hear you sirius.
