I bought the 510 hoping to use it riding my motorcycle. No luck! However, for the price it works great as a simple head set in the car. I use a PDA and the 510 is so much nicer than having a square phone pressed against my head. I also have the Plantronic ear pc at work. It took two weeks to get use to the ear bud. It can become itchy.Im numb to it. Otherwise,I would have hated the 510. Over all, I am happy, but disappointed. I hoped to use this product riding.

The sound is great, but the headphones feel extremely flimsy. The over-the-head band has three joints that simply do not hold their position and rotate all the time.

My first bluetooth and it was easy to install and works as advertised. I bought two of them, one for me and one for my girlfriend, and they both work great.

I have tried three different makes of bluetooth and have been disappointed by the frequent loss of signal. I thought of going the old fashion way and used a headset with the 2.5 mm plug. It works well with my LGVX-8700 phone. I am so pleased with the clarity of this headset. I highly recommend it as a better alternative. Great device without the borg look.

First bluetooth device I've delt with so for experienced users this may not mean much...after all what do I know? Anyway, the set up with the phone was easy, I've had no trouble with hearing conversation, and have had no complaints from those I've called. I'm often around idleing diesel trucks, near traffic and so on and the communication seems to be fine both ways. I do find the "beep" when passing through a dead zone to notify loss and regaining of signal a little bothersome, but that may be normal and I'm new to bluetooth. I've yet to run down the device, so the charge seems to hold up well too. Overall I've been satisfied with the product, performs as advertised and does what it claims.

I bought this to play mmorpgs (massively multiplayer online role-playing games), and it works great. The sound comes in very clear, and my teammates have no problem hearing me when I speak in the mic. It has a nice extra long cord too. Great headset for cheap!

This phone has real good range as opposed to the previous phone I had (900 Mhz headset phone). It works well in and around lots of metal (I work in an industrial building) work also. The only downside is the small buttons. If they were any smaller I'd have to give it only 4 stars. For those that don't see well, the small buttons very well may be a problem.

Its around $200 to get this configuration direct through plantronics site (getting a headset and amp together, about $80 separately at the cheapest), didn't look up exact same model# but I couldn't find anything on their website that would match amazon's price for both a headset and amp. I went through 2 other headsets to find the right one. 1st one (about $15, over the head, one ear) was simply a headset to connect to the headset port on the phone, volume was way too low, both ways; especially on my end. 2nd (about $30, over the ear piece) was also headset port connected, same thing. My headset never leaves my car, so the wall charger that it came with is nearly useless. Picked up one of these a while back and it has worked great. Makes a nice solid connection to the headset and does its thing.
