Nice pedal, but I had to open and tighten the pedal. Looks like they missed a QC step.

I actually got this to work with my Yamaha P-80, but I paid dearly for it. I'm running Windows XP and during the driver installation, I got the "...has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatability with Windows XP" message. OK, the next paragraph was really scary - "Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabalize the correct operation of your system either immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for software that has passed Windows Logo testing." M-Audio's user guide ACTUALLY INSTRUCTS you to click the "Continue Anyway" button, so instead of stopping the install and returning this item for a refund, I trusted them and continued ... Read More

McWorld gave the M-Audio speakers a high rating. Found a great price on Amazon and ordered a pair. The speakers may be a bit too large for a crowded desk but their size contributes to their great sound. Wonderful sonic balance with incredible imaging. A remarkable speaker for the price. Very happy with the purchase.

I been doing music since i was a kid so i been to many home and professional studios and if your on a budget this is for you!!!! I'm not fond of the mbox and the price difference is amazing. Now you can get the maudio protools and this fast track cheaper than the mbox. Only problem i ever had is like the mbox you record in mono not stereo. Sound quality is near perfect and installing is the easiest i ever had basicaly plug and play. So home studio beginners get this and it will blow your mind!!!

Absolutely love it. I've been using MIDI for nearly 10 years now. This is my first compact MIDI controller and it's actually really really nice. And the software that comes with it is pretty fun.

This keyboard does everything its supposed to do. It's also relatively cheap compared to other brand. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

MIDI controllers are often a subjective choice because not everyone uses them for the same purpose or has the experience of playing on weighted keys such as your normal piano. I purchased this after having started with a 49 key M-Audio Key Studio which was an entry level controller with plain, non weighted keys and no extra control beyond the standard pitch & mod wheels and octave buttons. I wanted something that would allow comfortable "piano style" two handed play without getting into actual 88 key units. If you are not experienced with actual keyboards/workstations (the ones that have sound and sequencers on-board like the Fantom, Motif, Triton) then you will likely be surprised with the weight of the unit. For the money, I think this is a fair deal; although it didn't completely meet my needs. After I bought I decided that I should have gone with the 61-note Axiom model instead. The things I needed that I don't get are 1) spilt-zoned keyboard and 2) a volume pedal jack (for swell in organ and live volume control with everything else, additional controllers (drum pads etc.). Hey, I bought it, so the lack of these features did not detract from the rating which I gave it; i.e., I didn't use the lack of these features to count against it. I can only give this keyboard 3 stars and here is why. It's mediocre. Does what it does... no more no less. The keyboard feel is not especially great, but not too bad either. The keyboard died after 1 year of very very VERY light use. It is my second M-Audio keyboard that let me down. I do not buy keyboards from m-audio anymore. If one needs disposable keyboard, there are cheaper alternatives.
